My town rank is stuck at 95.
No matter how many items I sell or quests I complete, the rank doesn’t go up.

It really can't be. If you think there's "suffering and misery" as a result of capitalism, then I seriously doubt you've lived outside of a western country and have absolutely no idea how easy it has all made things for people. Real suffering and misery isn't having to wait an extra 5 minutes for your Door Dash.

Hinkley, California is a direct example of capitalism causing suffering and misery.

Funny enough, you've argued against the regulations that were put in place because of places like Hinckley.

I've had the most success at the corner of a street or in the night club, inside right at the entrance to the dance floor. The people dressed in purple that walk around I believe are the ones who will be the audience.

However at most I've had a 5 people audience. And tips of maybe 50 or 60. I believe more audience members = higher tips. (~30 guitar skill at the time, not sure if it matters). If you're looking for a way to make money, I recommend just making 10 songs and turning it into an album. I don't know the exact earnings, but with an average of about 200 popularity per song, I was getting about 10k per week.

Ninth, I don't need to make money, I have already found a way, more than anything else I am playing on the street to increase the popularity of the songs in my album to improve my band! And I didn't understand why I didn't receive a few more than anything else

Ah, well as you probably already know, popularity will increase with or without audience. You can even perform alone in your house and it'll still increase somehow. Maybe the neighbours are secretly listening. That said, I do think it's very vague and limited which people are eligible to be audience members. And it does reduce the motivation to actually go out on the street to do so. Even with somewhat of an audience, the tips aren't all that great for the time spent.

If you've played Red Dead Online, it's similar to that, just with added base building. I actually enjoy it, but I think the make or break will be if you are interested in the Fallout universe and its overall aesthetic.

I made about 600 atoms just by playing for 14 hours. Not a fortune, but also you can earn a respectable amount just by playing. I also haven't felt the need to purchase anything. You should also avoid purchasing some things when you start out because you can find some items or similar ones by completing quests and visiting vendors. There are atom-specific items that help with gameplay quite a bit, but I could see myself unlocking them with currency I made at this rate and currently they're unnecessary.

The P2W comments seem to be tied to veteran players who are prioritizing efficiency. I still think that's inexcusable, but I'm also not a player who wants to be highly efficient.
