guy has found a solution that works. Whether people agree or not doesn't change the objective reality that for him it is a functional methodology.
Its not like he's a smoker who took up vaping then took up chewing nicotine gum (the same vice in 3 different forms). He found a way to stop doing that bad thing. That is the goal, he succeeded.
I don't see why the ♥♥♥♥ he'd care if taking it "head on" is more "rewarding". The "reward" is that he no longer does the thing.

List of things u can do:

restart PC - (deactivate fast boot from hard drive)
Restart Steam
update all pc drivers (mainboard drivers and GPU)
deinstall current driver and install older driver (GPU)
repair cs2 files via steam
start a bot game and then a comp game
log out and log in
log out from steam and restart steam
switch to a second account and play there for a moment and go back to main account
reinstall game
deinstall riva tuner (usually it installs together with msi afterburner)
end all steam tasks via taskmanager
close steam and delete %temp% files
switch cs 2 to beta and back
Windows update and restart
reinstall steam
delete Folder 720 (CS2 Folder) and install it again
restart modem/router

if nothing helps, just wait for next patch

I can also kind of see the logic.
But I don't think the premise fits. Rocket launcher / phoenix rod is a weapon you often fire single-click style, but the reason for that is because it often kills the target in one shot. If your enemy is a boss monster, you keep firing.

The "basic game instinct" so to speak is usually to hold down the button. Either you hold it down until target dies (basic pistol / elven wand), or you fire in volleys (or plasma rifle / hellstaff). It only comes to single clicks in advanced gameplay, like sniping at a long distance with hitscan weapons.

I play a lot of Mordhau and i see similarities with this premise. In the duelling genre, especially at high level, we have a gentlemens rule of honouring sword combat in duels. Archers, or any player that uses ranged projectile weapons would be dishonouring the rule due to the clear imbalance of the fight ahead.

Yes, there's no obligations of your pick when you join a game, everyone has free will and no consequence to their choices, but it is an appreciated commodity to be starting from a level playing field.

I wish people didn't have to argue about this, or fester in toxicity within public games though. If only we had a sabre vs sabre game mode or even better, community servers for dedicating duelling.

Ok then. I see my asking questions in order to understand why you are asking for these "improvements" has been interpreted as an attack and put you on the defensive. While the game doesn't automatically block the cars perfectly by distance, it's dang near close enough. And I'll just leave it at that because I'm sure if I say more it'll be taken the wrong way...

You have known now for well over a year about v-sync issues, how long before this is addressed? I am beginning to think this is not something you can address or fix. Is this a engine issue or a corner you have coded yourself into?
