In my opinion, games are beginning to develop into increasingly more complex mechanical wonders, such as in Monster Hunter Wilds where the map is truly an open world with actively interactive creatures and fauna.
These features while wonderful and amazing require a much more powerful computer to run than a usual game.
When Wilds launched I played the whole campaign on a Steam Deck Oled seeing as that is the only thing I had at the time. Now that I've purchased a decent PC (Pre-Built from Best Buy), I realize that most optimization issues come from out dated pc builds. Granted there have been a handful of crashes on my end but definitely nothing like what I hear being described.
The developers released Wilds on three different platforms and are working with a mechanic which requires extreme attention to detail, do not blame them for anything and have some patience.

No its still pretty bad to remove that. Youre blaming the rock for killing Abel and not Cain for his self control. People like you also go out of your way to say oh another guy who uses scoreboard, straight to the block list. . .

Are all scoreboard users problematic? Of course not.

Does the scoreboard encourage players to run solo and kill as many things as possible? Well, if “higher numbers” are important to the player using the mod, then absolutely it incentivizes that terrible behavior.

Stick together, share the resources, and succeed or fail as a team. Running solo puts an unnecessary strain on the rest of the team, especially is that solo player goes down. o_o

At the end of the day, the only stat that matters is did team successfully beat the mission? Who cares who got the most kills when the team didn’t work together and got wiped. :P

Want a scoreboard? All the power to you!
Just don’t let it hinder how you cooperate with your team. ;)

People also can just ignore the scoreboard as well but that should have never been taken from the players who do make use of it.
Even something as simple as seeing player damage and attacks blocked can tell me things about people or better yet peer review with friends what to improve on.
Logic has never cared about feelings but people get their feelings all tied up in the logistics. As they say, block and move on. Your bad apples are spoiling our bunch. It’s such a simple unbreakable feature and yet people lack the cognitive prerequisites to execute on it.

I'm also 100% sure that they know how many cheaters there are and that they're just not banned because otherwise the servers would be empty

The game has never ran so bad, worst performance. Adding and adding without optimization.

Half a million per week in skins but can't hire admins for their servers or optimize. Weak.

Na man its your pc. You gotta go upgrade. Facepunch insist, alongside all their shills.

I started less than a year ago and the first thing i did was look for a way to skip the tutorial and left the starter systems as soon as i saw them.
I don't need the hand holding, being a veteran of Elite games.

I should have read the Codex Handbook right away but i missed it in my rush to get the damn game to leave me alone so i can play.
But i figured it out.

Lots of posters here helped with tips and hints, often to other people. I learned a lot just reading posts plus i found 2-3 good guides.

So when i read some of the complaints, even before the Chamberlain's Rest problem, i always thought it would be better if new players skipped the damn thing and figured the game out by experimenting with the control setup until they got it just right, and by reading the Handbook chapters that interested them.
