Same problem, only that I go from around 90 fps and then it drops down for a split second due to frame spikes, happening only in cities. (I have a 3080 and Ryzen 9 5900X with 32GB RAM).

Hell yes I cannot wait to see this get merged into the main branch. Great job! I am totally going to host my own server for anyone to start a team to survive the elements together! Lets goo!!!

Well its fun game so far, barring minor hiccups. Though does seem there's no or little moment to moment tactical thinking since cant store boost pretty much have to take every jump. but its just a minor nit-pick.

K, there's a few things we can fix right away.

Bandages: You can rip up clothing from zombies to get rags and then get hold of a pot or bucket. Fill it with water, shove it in an oven that is on and you can use the bucket of hot water to disinfect the rags (it's easier to use the craft menu), steralizing them. VERY good for wound treatment. It's one of the first things I do on a new run.

Mouse and keyboard: This one is pretty much a mouse and keyboard sort of game. Very difficult with controller. Because of that, you might have a hard time enjoying it with a cracked wrist.
Kinda sounds more like tactical mistakes to me though.

First, this ain't an action FPS kinda game. Ya gotta know when to fight and when to run. You get tired. The zombies don't. not even the sprinters (you don't have them on by default so dun worry). And there's hundreds of thousands of zombies across the map. you have to pace yourself, you have to set rest spots for yourself. You cannot fight continuously without pause and expect to come out on top. It just don't work.
What kinda melee weapon loot you set? You might find it more fun if you set melee weapons high at first. It'll get you in a better combat position earlier on. you prolly using ♥♥♥♥ weapons to begin with and dunno where to find the good ones.

Honestly, though if you need the high pace this game probably isn't for you. It's more of a base builder and RPG than FPS, high octane action.

It's not the pace of the game it's how slow you move in stealth unless you have a high stat. I will literally nod out staring at my screen trying to crouch and sneak across a yard. I have to move faster. I don't run all the time I do walk but even then zombies can hear and see with super human accuracy which I don't find realistic or immersive just another thing that frustrates me. I like the base building aspect, I like the RPG aspect, I love the survival elements but everything else just pisses me off.
