Oh yeah, that's what we get when developers know what they're doing and develop, in this case, their own engine ( RE engine ) which is actually as u noticed quite performante and optimized, lazy game devs just use the bloated mess that the unreal engine is and then we users struggle with high end PCs to run their software bloat

Does this game have or will it get a quick mission generator where you can choose (or randomize) the opponent's fleet and skill, settings like weather and time, and of course size and quality of your own fleet?

Rooftops are a huge element of what makes Battlefield, Battlefield. Every map in Battlefield 2 had rooftops. There were even grapples and ziplines.

I don't like that in all the maps of Battlefield 6 so far, there's no legitimate way to get on a rooftop, yet, once you're on one, you can climb about and navigate them freely as if they were always intended that way. I'd much rather die to a sniper on a roof than have the even more annoying shotgun spam which is essentially an OP sidearm to an already strong class...

If they added legitimate ways to get on rooftops, then the rooftop campers could easily be dealt with by normal players as well as opening up a new element to the game that isn't just endless CQB and sidearm Shotgun spam...

i think most of the houses have more than enough floors to promote vertical gameplay - most of them already have 2-4 floors and it's stressful enough to watch for the windows there while trying not to get shot by the other 500 corners from all sides. i don't talk about the few "small" buldings especially on open maps, that's perfectly fine to get on a roof up there and snipe or do whatever, but it's simply not necessary to be able to get on a roof above 4 floors and i don't agree with you, that something like this "makes it battlefield".

although I agree with you, that it has to be possible to get there on a legitimate way instead of paraglide-spamming and using a shield to glitch above the map, if they let it in the game. but camping up there with multiple grenade-launchers and unlimited ammo is just insane.

on my last played map there were more than half of the enemy players camping up there with 12-15 people...it was completely ridiculous. they farmed kills and increased their K/D (the first 15 people had a K/D over 3) while losing the map with 400 points left on our side - but it is a very frustrating gameplay to 90% die of someone which you nearly can't hit or see, while he can hit you everywhere because there is nearly no cover at all. and we won - but it didn't feel like it, because our only way was to throw wave after wave of our bodies on the points to get them. no way to get up there anyways and even if you killed 2 or 3 of them, you got spammed by dozens of grenades.

Just started playing, but for some reason im now at around -180 reputation with the starting faction, and I have no clue why. Haven't killed any of them, in fact the entire time i was playing the game today i didn't even attack a single faction member.

I was present when a freelancer died to some fire thing right next to me in Metropol and I took a rifle off of his corpse? Don't know how that would affect the reputation, since he was already dead. Died a bit later and respawned with the message "you will be shot on sight" at the observatory, completely confused.

I'm guessing this is is a bug, since I never even shot my gun once during that session. Guess I'm gonna have to try my luck with the revolution, since they're the only faction not hostile to me now.

i don't care if the shotgun is op just make all the other guns stronger slug rounds in bf4 used to reach over 50 meters from memory
