No, you are just reflecting ervery single uncomforable truth searching for the smallest of ways out of having to accept you live in a racist country.

Stop with the digging and the sophistry. This is not about the U.S.; it's about you and your claim that Europe is "color blind." You implied that the Spanish, the Greeks, the Italians, and eventually the Portuguese were "brown people."

Do you think any of those nationalities would call themselves "brown people"? If not, then once again: why did you feel the need to clarify, "We Europeans don't regard our Italian, Spanish, and Greek neighbours as 'brown people'"?

There was a saying, often repeated throughout much of the 19th and 20th centuries in parts of Europe: "Africa begins at the Pyrenees*." That's not from the U.S. either - it's likely from your neck of the European woods.

I'm not really a fan of ground-and-pound. Take care.

*Franco's Spain had a similar saying: "A Dios gracias, África empieza en los Pirineos", but for the opposite reasons.

Now you are down to random "facts" from PRE-WWII

butregarding Franco you are right, he was a 1930ies Spanish fascist dictator from the same mold as Hitler and Musollini.

And just like the other fascist dictators of his time he was a blatant racist.

Just like todays right-wing extremists and neo-nazis that plague Europe like the rats that had spread the pest over the contient multiple times.

But although you are inclined to brand the average European as being as racist as the average American, you haven't lost a word about Europes obvious right-wing neonazi problem.

I wonder why....
