I deleted CS2 from my PC and reinstalled it, since the other options did not work for me. But it still crashed after loading the main menue. Then I restarted it with mods disabled, which worked. At least I got into the main menue. So, I logged into the paradox launcher via webbrowser to disable all the "less popular" mods hoping to sort out any mod that might cause crashing. I even checked the "comments" under each of the still enabled mods to see if any said that the games keeps crashing due to this particular mod.
So, again. I launched the game with mods enabled. AND... it crashed. Couldnt load to main menue. Now thats frustrating! Ive been playing so many hours in this game and now I cant even get it to start running.

I feel you.

Anyone try this?

i actually really appreciate this updates intent, but a lot of the animations really couldve been tested more thoroughly. no need for urgency on these initial updates, wed appreciate more polished changes, also as a bayonet user, new animation is not even an ounce as satisfying as before

Try turning off Vertical Sync! I was having the same problem, I have literally the recommended specs and it was slowing to a crawl and stuttering any time I moved, even on ultra performance with low graphics. I saw someone in another thread say to turn off V Sync, so far it has helped a bit. Let me know if that helps!

tbh no...that would cause another sea of threads about that taunt again but I think the deploy time is in a good spot

I don't get this sentiment. If they add difficulty sliders you can just play on the one that it's intended on. This will in no way impact you if someone plays it on the easiest setting. It might be their first Souls like and it could be a good way to get them to get into the series.
