So, first, I think any of your actual battle starring Lord Hong Lu should start with him using his S3 to get one of Boluses ASAP. However, which one you'd need the most?

I think there's two main boluses: Outis and Gregor ones, because they boost his Rapture Count application and Poise Count gain.

To get those you need to pick/deploy Outis and Gregor as first two units, because that's how game chooses units to apply effects to when multiple IDs fulfill the conditionals required (in this case, being Heishou with the least Unrelenting Storm)

After that, I'd pick Rodion's one for more Rapture Potency, and then Ryoshu with Faust. Despite being the strongest Heishou at the moment, Faust has the weakest Bolus buff, so you really shouldn't place her first in the deploy order if you're facing the real battle, and not just some MD filler.

Not sure on retreat mechanic, but you generally don't want to retreat your Si IDs because they lose all their Poise this way, Mao however should be fine, because the bonus S3 will give them free Strider to utilize from here on now (except Mao Faust, for obvious reasons, you should never retreat her)

I want a card of another set + 5 gems, it doesn't matter which set. (or 2 cards instead of 1 card and 5 gems.) I prefer cards of this sets:
