There's been some confusion around people fired from EA and from Bioware, for many they had an option to leave Bioware but stay at EA and wasn't pleased of it. There's no point to worry or sorry for those that left, it can change their job life for much better, they did their decision.

For others that just left there's clearly no point to be sorry for them.

For those forced to quit you can be sorry for them but it's no way clearly related to any ME4 release.

Rando match-making is not a feature any game is "supposed to have". A lot of games do, because who you wind up playing against doesn't really matter, and in many cases, who you're playing with doesn't really matter either. 'round these parts, it matters.

G1 was the exact same way - and that was a good thing. It's just as good here, as no one wants randos dropping in, raiding their bases for the extra scorpion stingers, snail shell bits, and sticky red ladies, before dropping out and heading to another "server".

Well, you do, or you want to be "that person", which means I wouldn't want you dropping into my game world.

You make it sound like it's all-or-nothing. It could have lobbies instead of matchmaking and it could have the option to make your lobby private. Plenty of games do this.

You can also just use the genre name that isn't tied to specific games, which is "search-action"

Seriously I'm going to have enough Bones and Petals to buy 3 Primordial Uniques before I get even 1 single Crystalized Heart :(
