Either way it's causing people to leave at the end of the day which is a whole new problem besides of what I mentioned because once people leave them the game becomes unplayable if you realistically think about it.

the player base has been strong and will be strong, for a long time. I'm not sure what you mean by unplayable, as the major orders (if thats what you're talking about) are subject to the player count. The only way the game would *realistically* become unplayable is if the player count dropped to less than 4 people (full squad, if that's a requirement for you to call it playable) or you could say the servers shutting down *legit* makes it unplayable

Almost certainly the difference. I'd basically class that as a bait and switch, as this means I will never have access to the steam multiplayer on this account as I now own the game.

As for better servers I find the servers acceptable at this point in time
but what is NOT acceptable is the horrendous tick rate
which I have personally talked to an EA employee about years ago
As for playing against cheaters........The quality of a server has nothing to do with playing against cheaters where the non cheater has a magical chance at winning.
I was that "9-5" guy and somehow maintained a 4.5k/d in BF4
and went on to win the North American cup with his platoon,which was ranked #1 btw
and participated in a few European cups as well.
Just saying.
