I have 100+ hours in the game, all I can say is the story-board has some good foundation but the execution is very very very poor, lack of emotion and feels like it's being rushed out without thinking about the world-building around each of every characters especially in the shinbakufu, the bosses are all just boring and too easy to kill, would be amazing if every of the shinbakufu has their own clan with their own territory and unique special ability / mount / castle / special ronin or samurai or bodyguards,

yeah I have to agree with you it feels off, very unrewarding and no emotional attachment, I have 200+ hours on Odyssey and 100+ hours on Valhalla, felt very much better compare to Shadows, regardless, we got what we always wanted, Japan, but sadly it's not up to our expectation.

I had this issue also. I cleared my steam download cache and also did the right-clicked the game, went to the properties and went to installed files and click on verify game files. Still it did not work so I have uninstalled game and re downloading it Hopefully that works. I have never seen this file locked thing before, in all my years of playing on steam

None of the "final" quests in each series seem to update; "Big Deal", "Raid", and "Decisive Strike."

Have killed and boarded numerous Atman ships at all three locations, including the T5 rare ship in the 3rd wave (which I assume are the "flagships"?).

I tried Luctus and didn’t expect much, but the pixel art and the way combat hit with weight had me nodding along the same way

First time in this game I started getting really into it, I hit the wall incredibly hard (in real life). My controller didn't take the brunt of the hit- but my hand did.

After confirming i hadn't broken any bones, but still in some pain, I was more glad that my controller hadn't broken, cos it definitely would have smashed apart with how hard I hit the wall.

i had a blood stain on my controller once that wouldn't go away, good old quest 2 times

quest 3 controllers are heaps better without the ring, asides from the occasional tracking issue they seem to be protected by your hands more
