It's pretty obvious the system is rigged since the beginning, at least when talking about "big MO's" whose outcome involve new content and/or dictate the development of the game's story: they are not going to waste tons of hours of work just because we manage or fail to accomplish them

I agree people fighting about "idiots, go help in X planet!" and that stuff are pure embarrassment

Theirs a difference to planning a mission to achieve an end goal (that you are currently unable to attain for various factors), or for a standard mode of operation.

You wouldn't be a commanding officer long if you started every battle with "Who wants to be the duck today, get in that Jeep and don't come back". Either you'll be relieved by higher command or you'll find a grenade in your coffee mug one day from your enlisted ranks.

do you think there will be anymore sweeping changes this beta or best now to just wait until beta finishes to start a new playthrough ?

I bought it on steam now on the sale and yes it links. I had the Ultimate Edition on Origin and my unlocks and achievements transferred over. I cant say for sure everything got linked because i had not played BF1 for many many years.

For me it was good because i did not want to begin from scratch.

I was just about to ask too. To be fair, I just want to play as a Predator and admire the design in a single player setting.
