Mine does this as well! I thought it was the mods at first, but I have taken them all out, and it still crashes randomly without any warning. E.A need to fix this immediately!

We know we will have a lot of DLC for EU5. Honestly, I personally have no issue with DLC. Paradox continuously supports their flagship games and to buy DLC is a choice. I am always a few years behind because I buy it on sale. That's just how I have rolled with EU4.

What I would prefer to see, is that DLC is flavour based adding new ways of playing nations, more immersion through events, different starting years / maps, more visual based content like wonders, units, buildings etc.

BUT... any type of game mechanical changes I would prefer that those are FREE PATCHES. I don't think it makes sense to have 1000 versions of the EU5 depending on what DLC you have or don't have. It creates complexities that probably make it hard to balance and quite frankly confuse the hell out of everyone. Achievements are a mess because based on your version you may or may not be able to complete them... or even criteria completely changes.... its a disaster.

I am echoing #LordLamberts recent take on it, and I agree with him on this 100%.

You start by walking around and letting the vr device scan ur living area, house whatever, then they can randomize where to hide the monkeys and u physical have to chase them around and u have a virtual net in ur wand control device

I could jive with this. Not even as VR, but as something like pokemon go.

I am fairly certain I have found the reason why my blueprint in particular is not working. I will redo some bits of my base and report if it has worked.

2 issues I have found - it is possible there are more:

1. Not all objects retain their rotation and they inherit the facing of the foundation/floor/roof they have been placed on them.

Items in question I have found in my base:
Large Wind Turbine
Large Ore Refinery

2. Some items have their scale incorrect in solido:

Items I have found:
Storage containers - the cubic 1750v ones. They are nearly the size of the "medium" containers in the solido projection thus clipping into everything, walls floor other containers.

Solution I am trying right now is swapping my base to large container + removal of the large ore refinery.

How to investigate your own solido:

Take a snap of your base and slowly push it into the ground, level by level, this reduces the visible projections and you can accuratly check your base.

After the updates the blueprint still refuses to work. I have removed offending bits and it still results in a blank error (grey box) and wont place.

Man the samurai are total jobbers huh?

Take your eyes out of your ass and look at the resolution of the stretched textures on the chest, the car, the coffin, etc.

And even then it doesnt matter much. Deus Ex Human Revolution was success but since then every AAA immersive sim was a financial flop. basically only AA budget is sustainable for such genre
