Come on, I was watching my team epically raise our flag as they claimed a point, only for the flag to slowly emerge into a blurry, low-res mess, much less detailed than the solider standing next to it. What gives?

Brothers I want my flags in crystal clear, crisp, 4K glorious detail.

Also... the trees? Why are they like that? They barely look like trees. And the "jungle" remains basically a huge BLOCK of stuff just like in the game from 20 years ago. 🤔

I feel like I might refund... Don't get me wrong I enjoy the game, and I loved it back in the day, but as far as remasters go, I am sort of perplexed what actually was done here, aside from upscaling the UI, making sure the font looks ok (although tiny on 4K and I see no option to change this?), and what looks like upscaled, but bad looking, model textures. I set the Terrain detail to High and I wonder what it looks like when set to Low (maybe it just refers to the crater deformations? Not actual terrain detail and textures? Idk.)

I don't know, it's kinda sad. Or maybe I had my hopes up too much. But look at AOM: Retold. Look at AOE II DE. I'm just confused.

Nevermind. The first boss, Odur, his attacks are theoretically parryable but it only happens for me about half the time. I'm deflecting and it just doesn't like registering. I've NEVER had a soulslike or even a metroidvania give me this much trouble before.

Like I'm trying to get my eye in but it's almost always wrong. Maybe if given enough time I could figure it out but it's just not fun.

no you can't retrain a class, that means you can only get a set number of skills from that class. and you absolutely should send chacters are sperfic class training if you want certain build

as far as i can tell you get get as much class as your lvl allow, i am not sure if you can switch class mid class but usually you want to get as much skill in a class as possible

the inquistior has some mixskill from different class but only a little bit of it, inquisitor -> knife juggler is one of the most solide starter combo you have speed and damage two of hte most important attribue in the game that let you clear the map in 1 round. the first round is always hte most important around.
