error code 53 server too bussy?? cant start game on win 8??
reinstalled the game and still no show how do I get this game to work?
all my other steam games work ok so its not my av or firewall why
isnt the game running when i press play it first says finishing installing start to counts to 100% then comes up with error 52 and a link to a steam help page with no help on this issue thx valve!

When I try to launch from steam, it starts 'completing installation' and then gives me the above message. I've been getting this same message for a few days now. I'm using windows 8 btw

I'm having trouble playing Borderlands or L4D2 - but not other games.
This stupid error has me stopped like a lead wall. I've tried the following:
