Hey everyone,

I am stuck at the mission 'solar strike' in which I have to plant a beacon in order to destroy a whale. After charging the beacon, I am told to runaway from the beacon, but it just doesn't activate. No matter the distance I am away from it and after some time I get overwhelmed.

What did I miss? Did I have to push a button? Or do something else?

Won't happen.
This has been suggested many times already, but there has been a hard no to this.
And the reason is actually quite understandable:
Foraging is a part of the game. Some resources are just not meant to be planted at home. That way you will have to go out into the wild and collect some things from time to time - usually before you run out of something important.
So the solution to this will be that you keep exploring. You keep finding new places or things you just overlooked. You have an eye open for spots with things to collect from time to time and sometimes you even solve one or the other challenge on the way.

Believe it or not, but being able to plant whatever you like will sooner or later really take away quite a lot of the game.
