My Station - Market Module

Moon-Shadow
But you can't call it an emergency purchase if you wait 30 minutes and no one comes to bring it to you.

Just like I sell something. Things like iron accumulate endlessly because no one comes to buy them.

-

Because of things that no one wants to buy, and the sector has an NPC station that takes these things, then place a tower next to this station with a link module, close enough that you can see it and reach it with "J" while standing next to the NPC station to dock.

Move the desired amount from the station warehouse to the tower so that you can always load everything into the ship when it is full, in order to avoid unnecessary individual withdrawals, and then "G" to undock from the tower and "G" to dock the station, then sell everything, and again "G" to undock and with "J" on the tower, and do this until you have sold everything you want to get rid of, which no NPC from player wants to buy even for the minimal price, but the station will take for a higher price, then dismantle the tower again because it has no use on its own and it will take a while until you need one again.

-

What's still missing is setting a production limit.

This is for workshops and factories of all kinds. You can set how much you can produce, and when a certain amount is reached, it stops and, if possible, continues to the next one and produces up to a certain amount.

What do you do now. / Stay at the station the whole time and wait until something is done, before rare materials that you initially don't have enough of are all used up.

And also keep in mind the retention limit for selling. So, if I sell vegetables but want to keep 20 of them, and a factory produces something that uses vegetables as a material, it use up the 20 I keep. While the market makes sure to retain them, the factories unfortunately consume everything that's there.

So it would be useful if the factory would say this material is also sold on the market and has a protection limit of 20, whether the factory should not use this 20 or should make it until it is used up, that would be useful with large quantities if, for example, you want to keep 100 vegetables for production and everything above that should be sold, while the factory itself has the goal of not using 20, but it would be simpler to have an internal list in the station where you specify what you want to keep and how much, rather than a stations and modules mixed up.

-

Buying and selling as one.

You can set the minimum amount you can keep.

It would be useful if you could also set the maximum amount you can buy. It's pointless if you go bankrupt because you buy something in bulk.

-

I sell vegetables; so far, it's been the best way to make money.

Because it only requires ice, which can be mined from large asteroids, where you can build multiple normal mines on them, you don't need the mining bonus of the better ones. If you build enough and use the bonus that mines twice as much per mining, it doesn't matter if the large asteroid eventually shows it's empty, which means mining takes longer, since it still mines two per station.

The agricultural station also creates a bonus with the perk.

If there's anything better for selling, it takes time because you need multiple farms and factories to produce something.
