Came back to Palworld after a long break. Running into an issue with the cages that you unlock to get the pal inside, although only in dungeons. They start with the door open and no way to unlock it, so the pal just stays stuck in the cage. Anyone know a way to fix?

We do not plan to release any major DLC or add much more content to the game (like new areas, story or more art and music). All updates will focus on fixing problems. The game is otherwise complete.

There are mods that fix this problem. Specifically Maklane's Better Gunfights on Nexus mods does exactly this. You can also pair it with one of the stealth overhaul mods that make it so NPC's vision through bushes and in bad weather and at night is adjusted and it feels totally different.

as a jeff main OTP since season 0, learn to play him. learn that bubbles give anyone (incl yourself) both speed and healing boost
this means if you bubble yourself, and dive, not only do you have almost the highest speed in the game, but you heal yourself to top in a couple seconds
aquaburst (rightclick) now has no reload, and just cooldown, and does more damage, and can juggle people a little, this is great for combo hitting direct hits which the damage is different for different targets, you can take more than half a groot/venom hp with your 3 aquabursts
combo this with now having a massive range, massive cone of effect tick damaging water, that also heals, you can finish the kills you need to, and get free kills all the time
bubble+water on team mates give the best constant healing in the game, and can do this for multiple people AND do damage against the enemy, this means tank fights are always won if you have an otherwise balanced fight

if you NEED the heal burst from the bubble, you're crutched, and need to figure out better positioning

jeff is still a crazy good diver. but you now have to reposition a lot, which works with aquaburst cooldown rather than reloading, and pacing

anyone crying that jeff isn't dps doesn't get the bigger picture of diverse gameplay and is probably the same crybabys who cries for healing as they get ironman ulted

Hope you have a backup ISO image. Also depending on which OS you have, you can get a media copy from microsoft. Word of advice, always make a backup ISO and copy it onto a flashdriver, sd card, or if you have older pc, cd roms. This is something to do day 1 when you get a new pc kiddoes. Do this everytime you get a new spanking PC. That way if crap like this happens on it, and it will, you can just do a delete and use the iso image to reinstall a squeky clean new windows on your pc.
