Nah, ♥♥♥♥ you.

So... after being told for almost 2 years now that they would do a better job at communicating with the fan base, can we expect those "communication improvements" to start at some point? Or did you guys resigned yourself to the level of incompetence that is now plaguing the entire publisher AND developer? You guys also promised better pace at fixing the game. We're now just shy of 2 years after release and the console port went from "we're fully committed to releasing consoles ASAP" to "Indefinitely delayed" within a matter of week.

Valve doesn't ban most cheaters because they spend money. People that play counter-strike 2, keep wanting the game to get better constantly, wishing and hoping for better days where Valve will fix a better anti-cheat. People keep buying, people keep playing. No cheaters hurt any sales.

This is something that I wrote to the individual "Call Sign: Raven" who is so against the idea of achievements that he didn't even bother to read my response in a different thread.

"Here is an example: last year, I completed GTA San Andreas on 100% only because it had Steam Achievements, previously, when it released originally, and while I played it as a kid, I avoided an insane amount of optional content because there was no incentive for me to pursue that content. Now, when the game provided me with achievements, I experienced it to its fullest extent, and I was blown away by how this game had so much in-depth content to it that I so easily skipped over before."

Also some games force you to experiment more because of achievements, like play with different weapons, classes, replay different story scenarios, etc.

Another also - I have played through the OG DoW versions several times, achievements would give this a fresh goal to strive towards, similar to how it was when the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection edition released with achievements.

I guess for me then it's different because I usually make my own goals if I need/want to. I'll explore optional content because I want to. I'll replay games because I want to. I don't need a reason or guidance outside of personal desire to point me in those directions to do so. So I guess that makes achievements feel kinda hollow to me in most cases.
