Honestly i dont understand the issue because they fixed that by adding right click command option.
In the original this was a huge problem i agree on especially if you double click select units (to select all of one kind).
I often accidentially unassigned engineers in the original.

However, in this version this never happened to me again because i now use right click move as the command setting (compared to the old left click move command setting).
So now i dont really see how you would accidentially unassign engineers in any way if you play normally.

You can even avoid any of that, by dragging a frame around your units and then selecting the siege units.


Mind, im not disageeing with adding a button, but im confused how this is a problem if you just switch the control scheme.

I have kids and a wife already to escape from IRL... you people... I tell ya... geezus crisco...

I guarantee that would kill what is left of mordhau. I've been here for about 4k hours and even I would drop the game like a hot potato of that happened. Keybinds are a basic feature in just about any game so that people can adjust the handling of the game to what is more comfortable for them. Asking for the removal of something that basic is crazy, especially when the default settings we would be left with are hot garbage.
