playing lone wolf solo is great fun, you need to be smart, tactical and precise.
it´s great accomplishment when you pull it off on higher difficulty and high enemy’s counts, especially now that the enemies AI is behaving better and better.

even the operation mission I treat as a solo challenge because the friendly AI just die very quickly lol but I don´t really care, I surely don´t rely on them to have my fun.

friendly AI is never gonna be that better, even if they improve it, they will always do stupid things, I always found them to be an encumbrance and almost useless on most games, I let then die and don´t really care, don´t known why they are so important all of a sudden...

if you want to not play alone just play coop with a good mate, that will always be better than any friendly AI out there, provided your mate isn´t a total idiot lol
Because if you're aiming for a realistic milsim experience, lone wolf is the opposite of that. Let's not pretend that we're asking for perfection here. Serviceable would be fine, and plenty of games in the past have shown that that's very possible. In fact, the games that Ground Branch claims to be inspired by, did just that: offered serviceable ai squad-mates for those who preferred to game on their own time without having to coordinate playtime with other people (who may or may not be a drag to play with). Lone wolf is a fine game mode to have, but it should not be the only option. Especially not Ground Branch, which has presented itself from the beginning as a return to single player friendly tactical gaming. (Not simply another coop/pve game, as was posited by an earlier comment.)
