The abandoned Black Mesa facilities were really cool, I liked that and I also find riding the ray neat. After the Manta ride was the point it started to get tedious for me, but at that point I could push through knowing it's soon over.

The final fight to get back to the portal though, damn that was annoying. I don't mind "hard" arena battles, I like to play Doom Eternal. This battle is just plain frustrating and annoying. You are under time pressure, you are not allowed to jump into the portal before killing all controllers which are annoying to deal with enemies under normal circumstances and you get constantly stuck on terrain. I quick saved my way through that battle until I finally managed to get through it.

This was definitely not like a Doom challenge fight were you pat yourself on the shoulder afterwards to finally won. All I felt after that fight was I never want to have to go though that fight again.

I didn't build a barracks yet. Clubs, shields and linen clothes.

It's you. Fumbling around, and losing time, and having to carry that one friend who just can't get their head on straight is 70% of the fun of the game. The actual gameplay of Peak gets pretty old after the first 3-5 times you've succeeded a run, at least in my opinion.

So you're saying replaying a 400% dungeon over and over to level a slot roll or complete a battlepass award is cheating? BTW I gained 168 levels doing a collect 80 amorphous things and doing re-rolls on a character. Typical normal gameplay. I was laughing at how broken the battlepass was after they just "fixed" it for the 3rd time. The levels mean nothing, I always end up at 200+ on them anyhow. I lost no coins since I claimed no coins that it rewarded me anyhow. I never even claimed the battlepass items either. So explain again how I exploited the game because I really want to know. Also BTW battlepass "fix" number 4 is live and it's still broken and not working properly. So you better not play the game!
