I’m using a laptop with an RTX 5070 Ti. I tried both driver versions 576.52 and 580. The game constantly stutters, the sound crackles, and it freezes every second, making it completely unplayable. I also tested on DirectX 11, but the issue persists.

I disabled fullscreen optimizations, ran the game as administrator, switched from dedicated GPU to integrated, changed OpenGL compatibility settings via the Nvidia app, and disabled overlays. None of these worked — the game remains unplayable.

What’s strange is that I don’t experience this problem in any other game, only in this one. Even after the latest Windows update, nothing changed. The drivers aren’t the problem either, since I tested with different versions.

This is a game with the 'survival and building' tag, but now building has completely lost its meaning. The wall hiding in player-built rooms is just awful. I can understand hiding walls when the character is behind them—that's reasonable to avoid blocking the view. But why do walls disappear when I'm under them, even though they aren't blocking my character at all? This ruins the game experience so much that I don't even want to play B42 anymore.

At least provide some API to let player-built rooms function like system-generated rooms, so I can make a mod to convert them and mitigate the issue. But whether it's due to my limited scripting ability or something else, even after adding all the system room properties to player-built structures, the wall hiding problem still exists!

If this isn't fixed, the only option is to search for existing houses to live in, and even then, you can't modify them without making them look terrible. I think this is the top-priority issue—why do you treat it as unimportant? First, you need to make B42 actually playable; only then will players have the motivation to test bugs for you!

I don't know about other regions, but in China, a huge number of players have already quit—some went back to B41. Can't you see the player drop-off? Many issues can be fixed with mods, but this one can't! Please fix this wall hiding issue ASAP...

1/2 - West Balkans, Road to the Black Sea. I personally like roads in old Balkan dlc more, but newer one has better grafics.

Valve never solved it. They only maintained peace by regularly banning cheaters, but as far as I know, there is no system in place that keeps it that way. I think of it as a chore rather than solving it for good.

Regardless, Valve will continue to ban them.

I love this game so much that i started again just to build my dream farm ,but i m also expecting an new update,i hope you will not abandon this game,I have also a small problem,it's been a lot of months which my animals does not get hungry and they also don't get breed

The game looks amazing is it possible to grant me access to the demo.

We clearly have different definitions of "clearly", because when a game bills itself as for 1-4 players, I expect that the devs have created an experience that is at least relatively comparable across that range. (It would be somewhat more honest to call this a 2-4 player game with an additional solo mode, but it'd still be poorly implemented.)

Did you have Biomass Catalyst? I'll bet you did. Game balance is not fine when one relic makes you unbeatable and everything else is trash, but either way: you said "we". You were not playing solo. This is not what I was talking about. We are talking about two different things.

The point defense thing you said, did you supply them with ammo? sounds like you never did.

As a matter of fact I did, though now that you mention it, it's also incredibly stupid that if you don't match a point defense module's tier with its ammo, it ends up with some small, unusable amount of ammo, and you have to deconstruct the whole module to clear it before it will do anything (because you can't manually reload, it won't reload if it's not empty, and [i[it won't fire if it doesn't have enough for a whole burst[/i]).

The devs will be updating Stalker 2 to Unreal Engine 5.5.4 in the future and one of the goal of it is to improve performance and overall optimization. Being a newer version of Unreal than the current 5.1, it also includes extra stuff like CPU optimizations and more optimized features like Lumen and so on.

So upgrading the engine to a newer version should at least more meaningfully improve performance than their efforts so far, but it is also likely a bunch of stuff will also break when the upgrade does happen. So it will be a while before the game is really in a top shape and hopefully the devs will continue supporting the game for years to come, because it will need it.

Hi Agentti Kiivi, I was not able to reproduce this issue. However, if you have A LOT of radiance stacking, the living weapons will not be able to attack quickly enough to consume the radiance stacks. This happens with any summon and with yourself as well, since radiance is only used whenever another skill is used. So in a hypothetical scenario where Living Weapons attack every 0.5 seconds, and you accumulate say 20 radiance every 0.1 second, even if they are constantly attacking, they will not be able to spend all radiance on them. Now, if you factor in that they must "walk" towards their targets, attack and so on, there will be quite a bit of downtime, so they will tend to accumulate radiance purely because they are not attacking, which is intended behaviour. In a scenario like this, you might want to stop getting extra radiance in exchange for getting other power ups and skills that will help your build more.
