Wait, THAT'S what the censorship was about? Thousands upset over...that? That's absurd. I could understand if it was gore, but literally 6 changes that no one really cared about before-hand? Good Lord....

It's not about what or how much is being censored it's about the fact that anything at all is being censored after years of dev's saying they wouldn't. Especially in this case where only the console version would have "needed" to be censored. Censoreship is always bad no matter how minuscule that should be extremely apparent these days with so many world gov. trying to implement china levels of censoreship/control on the internet after claiming that they are only trying to Pr0tEcT tHe KiDs. It always start's small.

There seems to be this binary thinking that *either* the devs use AI art, OR the devs pay real living breathing artists to create. It may be that a dev uses AI art because they can't afford a real live breathing artist, and the choice is AI art or no art.
Will having no art in the game make the game somehow better? Of course not. Purity tests are luxury problems.

Oh i saw that, a minor sacrifice in the long term. My enemies still lose, doesn't matter if i have to give up the games. Its not about the games, its about the principle.

You might be conflating the loud minority and lumping them with everyone to punish everyone. Most of the silent majority probably never heard of the saga of whatever you are so hung up on or do not judge and let these fantasies exist in fiction.

It's blown this big because of the impact both to the games industry and some countries are real. None of us or the silent majority were expecting this or asked for this.

So if anything, you're not seeing 2 enemies fight each other out, you're just watching innocents that were unaware fight against your enemy.
