I was able to get a wheel to work using a keyboard re-mapping software. The one I used is called AntiMicroX. The issue is the game requires a lot of fast-paced maneuverability which you're can't replicate with a wheel. You able your weapons using the mouse and flicking the mouse allows you to spin the car around.

I tried replicating a mouse, or at least an analog stick, by purchasing one of those single finger tiktok controllers. This way I can hold onto the wheel and then use the controller in my other hand. Unfortunately, it didn't work very well. The controller lacked the precision necessary to shoot enemy cars, it's connection was spotty so even if I increased the sensitivity it was not a smooth experience.

You should be okay mapping your wheel and then using a mouse in one hand. That personally defeats the point of using the wheel for me, but it works well enough.
