Happened to me on 7.60, vanillla game. Split vendetta, CoH, ToA, Kingdom End and Timelines installed. Tried to scan that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for 10 minutes with my screen shaking and the ship ragdolling left and right but to no avail. Had to load a previous save from an hour ago. Looked up the problem on google, opened this thread only to find the dev is fixing individual peoples save files instead of the game kekw

this bigbos95 guy needs to be banned he's being way too toxic

I am getting the same problem and just bought the steam deck , crackling noise on most games

There are many fixes for the crackling or choppy sound. No need to do them all. Try one by one:
- turn off Steam Recording
- turn off/mute mic
- in the performance tab, turn off overlay
- try the Decky Plugin "Pause Games", which helps with the resume crackling sound (it's in the decky store) https://github.com/popsUlfr/SDH-PauseGames
- turn off WiFi Power Management (settings/developer)
- reboot. Can be just a temporary bug even after a recent reboot. This will restart Pipewire which sometimes fixes it. Or try this command when it happens. Maybe make a bash script and add it to steam and run it when needed. If it works of course: systemctl --user restart pipewire pipewire-pulse wireplumber


Per game fix:
- turn off in game properties, general Overlay (I would also try in the performance tab, turn off overlay)
- try another Proton (Experimental or GE_Proton)
- add this launch command, you can tweak the value between 0 and 100: PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30 %command%

Unhealthy for that gamemode, its always a miserable game with this combo

Look great but there are nothing about performance? I play on GEFORCE NOW and you cannot really use any high graphic setting otherwise is super lag....
