You can get to the area with the two robots, where an EA-Wall is active. If you jump down on the right corner of the suitcase and crouch through it, you can access the area, find two secrets and even get to the two robots. You have to press respawn to get out of there again :)

No issues here, just got it while on sale and played for about an hour.

Not sure how to get steam to launch the English patch though, thcrap patches seem to reference the original executable, so renaming them doesn't work. I hear using the original .exe works better for that purpose, maybe one day I'll dust off my original CD.

I'm getting a few generic miners and merchants and pirates coming around, but no named traders yet. No sales of my coffee and silver despite them being the cheapest in the galaxy, just a few repair jobs.

I did kill that ravager though, and got me an orange Peacemaker and Flux Capacitor from them. Also build my sensor station, which discovered a derelict Leviathan! Time to upgrade from this old Donkey now. :)

I really hope they just buckle down and get the ai right before adding a ton more features. Medevac and most flying ai is completely broken I don't think I've seen them successfully land a chopper once

Currently PvP in the Deep Desert is deeply flawed. Instead of pitched PvP battles between guilds, we have seal clubbers rocketing naked farmers; hardly entertaining.

Nearly everyone loves the idea of faction based PvP. The problem with factional PvP is that it quickly becomes lopsided. Essentially everyone migrates to the winning side. I can't think of any examples where MMOs have successfully engineered and elegant solution to this problem.

Instanced PvP matches (e.g. 5x5, 10x10, etc) would keep the sides even enough numbers wise to make for interesting fights, but at that point open world PvP is dead.

I'm glad I am not a game designer. I see no solution to open world PvP that does not encourage seal clubbing, which in turn discourages participation.

Now noone controls resources, they're valueless and no wonder open world pvp is dead.

Heh heh, just keep yelling at the clouds; that'l teach em. I would venture to say that the majority of players who leveled up in the 95% PvE Hagga basin are not going to be terribly interested in Rust Style PvP.

70 dollar is too high for any country anyways ...
