And why I can't use my record's materials to strength my boat. It just stops before the final battle after I win the ****ing Rock-Paper-Scissors games.

Well, as a veteran Battlefield 3 and 4 player, here are some thoughts I believe are worth considering after 75 hours played in the BF6 Open Beta.

The game is amazing, with well-designed maps and smooth movement, but there are a few things I found a bit odd—just my personal opinion...

Enemy spotting – I noticed spotting is barely visible to teammates, and often the enemy doesn’t get marked as intended. Many times I spot enemies, but my squad says they can’t see the marker. Same happens when they mark—I don’t see theirs either.

Sights – Out of all the sights I tested, for some reason I always found it better to play with iron sights. Even at long ranges, it’s advantageous to keep the minimal recoil they provide, without having much trouble aiming at distant targets. The 1.5x sight is good as well, but I still don’t see the point of using anything above that for assault rifles.

Defibrillator – The medic’s defibrillator feels a bit odd to use. Sometimes it doesn’t make any sound, and it can be hard to tell whether the teammate was actually revived.

Other than that, it really felt like the old Battlefield days again. Funny moments, laughs with friends, the thrill of a true war atmosphere... as people are saying: We’re back!

Do you have some kind of mod that affects gravships? It looks like it should be a mod issue.

This kind of update is basically rubbing the fact that theyre wasting money and time instead of finishing the damn game in our faces.

hmmmmm, i enjoyed the Hatchet books, its about a guy who gets in a plane wreck and is stranded in a forest

1. The Steam build of Fortress Connected lets you play through the campaigns Half-Life 2 + its episodes and Left 4 Dead (1 only) as the TF2 mercs. These campaigns contain modifications to work with co-op play, as well as extra custom rooms and sections.
I can't comment on Lambda Fortress's differences, not being part of its playtest team, but I believe it focuses on a more vanilla "tf2 mercs in half-life 2" experience, and primarily focuses on Half-Life 2 compatibility.

2. All items that exist within Team Fortress 2 are only usable if you have the items in your Team Fortress 2 inventory (as with every other TF2 SDK mod - this is due to Valve's rules on using TF2 economy items in SDK mods).
Items that are not obtainable in Team Fortress 2 (custom weapons, such as John's arsenal) will be usable without needing any corresponding item in your inventory (for free).

As the lead mapper for the project (as stated above), HL2 is significantly different compared to LF. This includes; new areas to explore, new enemies (and now, with the Mapbase integration, more weapons available to NPCs), and new enemy placements (nothing like HL2: Overcharged, of course).

TLDR; LF is vanilla focused, FC is not vanilla focused (we are simply having fun with our mod).

Also, PVP is accessible, too. And we also have Deathmatch (and planned FFA gamemode).

Ah, thank you both SO much! I was wondering if I was looking at the mod I've played was from the FC or Lambda Fortress team. But it definitely was FC now I know the difference of the projects here. ^^ But I REALLY appreciate the hard work you guys in the dev team are putting in! I had TONS of fun playing the github version of the mod and I'm looking forward for the more hands on support here on steam! :D Was always a blast being heavy gunning down helicopters and engineer to camp a spot to sweep the waves of combine haha.

At least it's playable for years to come. Anybody can always come back and play anytime. Like classic games.

This is better than live service model. That's quite unsustainable.
