iv been following this ♥♥♥♥ from the mid 2000s.. i hope it comes out this year..im still hype for it.

Only the host can use it in multiplayer. You will get the rewards in the mailbox of every save, so you can always have them.

I think most of us 'saw' this coming the moment 3 fortress cities were being built with 1 towards each faction, just by accident, right?

I do not think its exactly a scripted event like some likes to claim just that it is the obviously preferred path the devs want it to go in and they will use a near surefire way to make it happen, which is really simple, they know if they create multiple fronts + gambits then the playerbase will ofc not get much of anything done.

Why focus on one thing and succeed when we can spread out over everything at the same time and get nothing done instead?

I am sure they have something planned for the unlikely event that we can hold one or more fronts from reaching these cities but I very much doubt they will need those plans. I have full trust in us remaining a herd of cats to the bitter end!

There’s two modes.

One is entirely just online multiplayer. No one buys Metal Gear for multiplayer and it’s completely separate.

The other is a side option in the main game where you can build a base with guards and traps, and choose to invade other people’s bases to steal the soldiers/materials inside.

That part is a feature of the main game, but can be ignored if you don’t want to use it

i dont think quell is op. you need at least 2 or more comfortably 3 to permanently stunlock a starbase, if you fight against a dual star base you would need at least 4 or comfortably 6 to rotate abilities. for the same ammount of ressources and effort you can get great siege specific units or just advent halcyon carriers. 4 to 6 halcyons can easily kill a star base alone.

i mostly play tec loyalist, so i do hate quell. but it isnt op as its the only valid siege breaker option that doesnt require strikecraft spam the advent truly have.

That's poor game design, the advent in Rebellion had a siege platform for combating starbases.

yes they did have that but its not poor game design its actually the opposite. the specialty of the advent is abilities and strike craft. that is the game design, and its great. you are just used to a diffrent path that is no longer desired. if you wish for siege weaponry either play tec with long range missle cruisers and novalith cannons. or go for the vasari and just throw a fully upgraded orculus into the enemy defenses.

the game design increased the strengths and weakness of the factions and forces you to play diffrently depending on what you are playing. just like vasari are kind of forced to be agressive with their looting mechanic now to boost their economy.
