Are the inputs working for you on Steam Deck?
I'm trying to use Steam Input with Steam Controller but for some reason it only picks up the inputs when I set them to controller bindings. M+KB bindings don't work for whatever reason. That means no Gyro, Flickstick, or trackpad which really sucks.

I haven't messed with it much but the controller input isn't working for me either. I do get the MNK bindings but trackpad doesn't work for me either. I gave up trying to play it on deck and played it on my PC instead. Maybe they'll fix it if we complain enough lol. Also they shouldn't list it as "steam deck verified" until they fix the input settings..

I know its not out yet, but been watching clips and videos, and boi iam so hyped that i want this day to be over so i can buy it and play it. Tho i saw some discussion that the maps aint many or its a bit short so i wanna ask the devs if they see this

Do you plan to add a workshop in this, or like make your own level, as well have a profile avatar survivor so we can keep track on how many unique maps made by different players have been cleared? Like i know its still early, but i can see that theres potential of this game being a fun community game where people can just hop on, enjoy, and invite friends as well make things that keeps it going

I love the multiplayer, i hope they implement it, a big open world to explore and to do BIG BIG BOSSES TOGETHERS, also Guild Bosses, season pass etc... something to play for much time, not just single player that you finish and done.

You love MMO's basically, so do I! But this just isn't an MMO we just have to accept that and enjoy the game for what it is!

Grabbed the humble bundle, so that puts myst masterpiece, realmyst masterpiece, and this version at my fingertips. Last that I played a myst was back on my windows 3.1 packard bell and that was the OG first release lol.

Curious if anyone has any advice on which version to dig into as a first return to the franchise?

I would recommend RealMyst/RealMyst Masterpeice Edition for a few reasons.

The first is the new Rime Age book. It ties incredibly well into Riven.

The second is there's an Easter egg on Myst Island that ties into the Myst novels that came out after the release of the original game.

And lastly, RealMyst and RealMyst Masterpiece Edition have a Day/Night cycle system. The 2021 version doesn't have that, nor do the earlier versions of the game.

I have absolutely no idea, how you guys are doing it, but this doesn't sound like game issue, more like device or drivers issue, you should check if you have everything alright, or you have updated it as well

But for me, same, it worked everything, no problem in the console version as well

I actually got to meet a programmer that walked me through fixes and nothing worked. It's obviously an issue because there are numerous posts about it.

Im an programmer myself and all i would do in that situation is what most little bit tech savy people would do, use google.

Epic Games is good, you can even close the launcher while playing a game. They give away free games every week, and once you get them, they’re yours forever (I got GTA V for free some time ago).

It shows up for others, I was naming my videos as well but it was getting slow to publish so I stopped doing that! I can confirm

I think what it means is that if your expedition would reward you with worms or skulls, for example, and you claim the reward while you're several hours into the reincarnation you will get a high amount of the resource.

But if you reincarnate and immediately claim them, you will not get that same amount but it will be recalculated into a lower value, appropriate for the time you've spent in that reincarnation.

So I suppose it only matters for resources that get reset between reincarnations and not the permanents one.
