just fought against starbucks for the first time. Barely won against the 2nd phase at, if I remember correctly, at 3-4 lifes left. The key I figured out (maybe I'm really wrong here lol) is to stunlock the guy, in order to not let him drink too many times.
The thing is, in the 3rd phase he seemed absolutely immune to any kind of ragdoll or stun, while all his attack moves (kicks in particular) are quick, do a lot of damage, and, most importantly, throw your character back in the other corner of the battlefield and ragdoll them simultaneously lol. I even got a perk/ability that makes you spawn right in front of the rival, but even still, I had the "balls punch" (the name might be wrong) move chained with glue gun, and none of them seemed to have effect.
I know this is most likely my own problem, and I simply could make a better combo, but it still seems quite unfair for the second fight out of six: it's not even halfway there!

So uh, every boss in the cage fight requires something that no other minigame in this game requires: a functioning brain!!!

Each boss has its own weakness, and the fun part is figuring out how to counter that, which moves to specialize in and so on. It was very easy imo, even before the nerfs

Well, do consider the fact that ED bosses are unlocked by beating their basic counterparts, so you're more likely to meet newer/less experienced players for ED Gladius, as opposed to someone like Libra or Caligo i.e. Best you can do is get accustomed to the buffs and other annoyances or find a better alternative to fighting the doggos :happymeat:

Good point. 400hrs + ED grinding kinda blinded me to that. I can definitely see now how that affects the doggos.

Honestly makes me feel better about it probably being newer/less xp players instead of inattentive bozos. Love helping newcomers

Welcome to console gaming. The console manufacturers will hop and skip down the streets going "look we love indie games too!!!" while making it a complete and utter development hellscape for them.

You have to pay a hefty yearly licensing fee to even start bringing your game to a console. Then, you have to pay another licensing fee for the engine you're using on top of that because the console manufacturers also make that a thing.
And then you're given an SDK. That you get almost no help for. You can't look for help about it online because it's all heavily NDA stuff.
So you just spent a bunch of money, and now you're stuck with a bunch of functions you don't even understand.

There are however, big publishers that do understand how to use these SDKs, the engines, and also already paid their licensing fees.

So indie games often resort to using these big publishers.

However, these big publishers are often dealing with tons and tons of other indie games. On top of that, another incentive for these publishers to not update is that updating your game on consoles also incurs another fee. They can only work on so many at a time, so the compromise is usually no updates unless it ends up growing to become a mainstream game.

It’s not tedious. There’s tons indies like actual independent small devs getting ported and on console without any issue

You should always wait and see but to ignore or not judge all the things people consider red flags is nonsensical. You can acknowledge red flags and still be pleasently surprised if the game works out.

Telling people to keep blinding faith just because they want the game to work isn't realistic or good. It is also why EA and Ubisoft are the way they are. It is why cod is now just a big skin shop and barely a real comp game anymore.

Según eso, por default no hay forma de activar la consola, tienes que crear tu propia bind en un archivo de configuración.
