Banning a player only prohibits them from joining your custom lobby games. If this was introduced to ranked, it could be easily abused.

and why in other games don't abuse it ?

Because someone will find a way to exploit the system by e.g. deliberately banning players they don't want to face.

It's always better to just man up, be honest, and admit you bit off more than you can chew and that it's going to be delayed than to keep giving and missing deadlines that piss everyone off. That does not give fans any kind of reassurance and just shows you're dishonest.

He already said it was gonna be delayed, but now it's later than he said he was going to delay it too. The real idea is to not give the Steam kiddies any timetables. Then you don't have said kids crying in the forums that the game isn't being updated fast enough for them.
