the new update made the cat much smaller for some reason and it also doesn't sit properly on top of my taskbar anymore, there's always a tiny bit of space between the cat and the taskbar and it bugs me. it was fine before the update

Back in 2016, NINE years ago, it was reported to EA support that Dead Space 2(2011)DRM has issues with CPUs with more than 10 cores, so you can not launch the game.
They are "working on it," still not fixed 9 years later.

Tiberian War from 2007 tried to be an RTS e-sports competition againts Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 1.

They did a lot of MP-focused patches, which screwed up Campaign's balance, failed to become an E-sport got Ditched, leaving Campaign half-broken.
(EA could have made ONE patch to separate campaign, skirmish balance......)

RA3 tried to be an E-sport, failed got ditched.

Mobile Game some Suit saw Dollar Signs and made a glorified mobile game as"main entry" and killed the Command and Conquer Series back in 2010 with "that" fourth mainline title we do not name.....
Always online, of course.....
Now series is a glorified pay-to-win mobile game.....(R.I.P. WestWood).

Dead Space 3 Devs were forced by EA to make a LOT of changes for the"wider audience" game flopped, and the Devs got laid off......

So this is EA.
Did not perform to sales expectations, got ditched.

Yeah, this remake could have gotten much more polish, so players should at least feel EA cares, but they do not.Maybe it would have positively affected their sales in future titles....

horror isn't EA's main focus and the horror genre doesn't do very well to begin with. I am surprised they even bothered with DS remake.

Ditching projects isn't exclusive to EA. They all do this- its called business.

I just have to laugh when people bring up "caring" when it comes to corporations. If you want to be cared for- go talk to friends and family.

I love BF4, its my favorite, this game is anything but a spiritual successor to BF4.

I've been trying to figure out why it has felt so "off" while playing it. And I realized that It's literally Warzone with "Battlefield" slapped on it. None of the fluidity from previous titles is there. BF6 is what you'd get if you told COD to make a battlefield game.

I agree, BF6 literally plays nearly 1 for 1 like Ground War in MW2019. The fact the people who like BF6 will attack anyone for daring speak that truth. BF6 plays nothing like 3 or 4, yet these deluded fanboys keep trying to push the narrative it does, when you can play BF4 right now and see how much of a lie that is.

Ну в России нет запрета на общение на других языках в общественных местах, есть украинские рестораны и тд, не вижу никаких претензий к языку и вашей культуре, а если ты ведёшь себя как скот - о каком уважении к может идти речь? Ты зашёл на русскоязычный форум и пишешь на укр, хотя прекрасно знаешь русский и люди вынуждены пользоваться переводчиком, что б тебя понимать, так что ты изначально не проявлял никакого уважения, тебе уже сказали - иди сам поддержкой обсуждай создание своей ветки

The video game industry and consumers have changed. Maybe I'm too old. But when I play an old game, I tell myself I'm getting my money's worth: it's complete, I'm having fun, with no optimization bugs. No loot boxes, and don't tell me DLSS isn't an excuse not to optimize a game these days.

Star Wars Outlook? As Mr. Guillemot would say. Forgotten
Far Cry and Assassin's Creed? The same menu every day in the cafeteria.
Profiting from Sam Fisher by having him appear in Ghost Recon or R6 without making it a game? Touching the despair of players.
A remake of Splinter Cell? A waste.
R6 and For Honor? Profitable money.
Shutting down gaming services after paying for them? Scam.

Finally, this message may not be aimed at you, but as a gamer, I wanted to describe my feelings about this consumption of video games.

youre just saying the same thing everyones already said even though what youre saying isn't wrong but at this point they dont care so just leave em be
