Played for a bit and want to give my opinion as I love rogue-likes like this...

The game looks beautiful and I love the character designs so far, but combat seems to have some issues.

Mostly it seems to come with the bosses, strangely enough when usually it's the base enemies looked over. A couple of examples:
Unable to perfect dodge Cosmia's tornadoes and green pulse attacks, making some of Sylith's abilities useless against her.

It isn't very clear what you are supposed to do when goat zodiac starts spamming attacks on the ground. I would suggest instead of random lines appearing and tracking you, which gives hope that you can dodge it, I suggest covering the whole ground in a red box, to make it clear it's not safe at all.

Finally, there seems to be some issues when locking onto bosses, it pans the camera so close to the ground, if the boss jumps the camera freaks out. Would probably be best to make the camera actually zoom out over and above the shoulder, instead of the cinematic lower behind angle. Or at least an option to choose cinematic or combat focus camera lock on.

Overall I think this game is beautiful and has a chance to do well, definitely looking forward to the co-op update personally. I can't speak further for the combat just yet, but it was fun what I played, issues aside.

It's in the starter town if I recall, in a place where you'd never go back to in a million years as nothing was there after you first passed through it, and no ingame text indicated that someone with an upgrade would randomly appear there.

The reason i'm baffled is because no, the game explicitly tells you to go there. After you get Naomi's backpack, her robot immediately tells you to go to Naomi in her lab (where you woke up at the start of the game).
You also then get an objective at the bottom of the screen to go to Naomi in her Lab for a reward.
You also have a journal you can open at all times that lists all your objectives for main and side quests that would remind you to go there if you forgot.
If you forgot where it was, there is a warp point called "Naomi's Lab" you can access from any other warp point.

I mean i'll be honest, I can't fault you for getting confused about the Antenna quest and where it needs to go.

But spending 8 hours on it instead of just... deciding to come back to it later and going where the game told you is progress is an extremely unusual thing to do.

While this game doesn't have the biggest playerbase, the other reason you couldn't find a lot of info about this issue is because you're probably the only person to have played like this?

I say this as somebody who tried dating apps around 2 months ago: You're wasting your time. Simply going outside and talking to a girl gives you substantially better odds at a connection than any online dating users will ever have even if you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck at socialization.

We will not be distracted nor will you disguise your incompetence and greed with a flashy trailer and Amon Amarth. This should have been in the game from the start. Fix the base game, add diplomacy, add dozens of missing features, fix the game so it's not a soulless repetitive paint the map simulator. Shameful display Taleworlds, not a cent more!
