Hello ! Yesterday, I was playing to GTAV with my steam deck OLED. When I stopped playing, I pressed on the power button to put it in sleep. But ≈ 1 minute later, it was on. I pressed again on the power button to put it back on sleep and it worked. A bit later, I heard the fans verry loud. They had a cycle : on, off, on, off, etc… and I couldn’t turn the SD on. Sometimes, the led started to blink read ≈ 4-6 times and stop, and start again. I looked on Reddit and I saw that it was overheating. So I left it all the night by the window. This morning, I tried to plug it and to start it, but just a blue flashing led appears and nothing on the screen. I saw here that it was an update, but now the update is verry long. And with what it did yesterday, I don’t want to let him plugged for all the day (I will need to leave the house soon). What should I do ? Thanks a lot

OP, the more you practice something the easier it becomes. Longer play hours will naturally translate to an easier time on the higher difficulties simply due to better understanding.

What is too easy for you may be too difficult for other players, and if you find it too easy with four people, try solo runs. And if you find that too easy, try solo runs against the alt variants.

The MT Framework engine supports up to 120fps, so if this bug really does exist then 120Hz monitors as a minimum would probably get to avoid it as well.
That said, I never experienced any issues with running this game at 160Hz on my CRT, but that could be a Linux thing.

After the update I played in Cahaya and Bliss Bay in two new saves. The game runs great on ultra settings. No crashes.

I tried this game on day one of the early access and it hard crashed my computer. Like really badly, to where it wouldnt boot for 30 minutes and I had to reinstall graphics drivers.

I log in from time to time hoping its better now but it still crashes the same way. I launch into a quick race and it goes to a black screen usually within 30 seconds or so of the race.

i run an i7-8700k with amd 6800 and 32gb ram on windows 10.

I know its early access and crashes are to be expected from time to time, and I really wouldnt care if it wasnt for the fact that its obviously not good for my computer when it causes the whole system to crash.

Is anyone else experiencing similar crashes to this or have a solution? I'd really prefer to be doing another type of crashing :)

It's always fascinating when you stumble on a player with a really bad KDA who doesn't have a ton of hours in the game (maybe 500 at best) and yet they play like they have a 3.0 kda and 4000+ hours.

Like i've seen people with a .90 KDA destroy a team of 1.5-1.7 KDA players by themselves with what looks like zero effort where they seem to know every move the other team is making.

The problem is, they could have had a ridiculously bad start, then have become better really fast, which seems unlikely. They also could have just been trash and decided they don't care about getting banned and they might as well cheat to get an advantage.

Without a kill cam to be able to see how they behave it's just hard to tell. If they were a higher KDA player or even just higher hours wouldn't even think twice about how they play.

Edit: could also be a friend playing on their account smurfing as well, never know. It's just shady.

There are some alt accounts which were used for deranking aka those have a sub 1.0 KDA now but the players behind it normally have 2-4 on their main.
Also a guy with a bad start wouldn't be at 0.9 after he learned how to play unless this bad start was for thousands of hours. Like even when you have a bad kda and you're 2-3k deaths in it's pretty easy to turn this into an okay KDA once you improved.

I played my first 4k hours with a pc built in 2011. I had an i72600k and mechanical hard drives. It was so slow that I could be camping a corner, and a player could run around that corner and kill me, before I even seen him appear. In 2018 I was getting 100fps, but by the time they introduced AVX2 in 2024 (which ended my old pc) I was averaging 45-60fps on low settings.

Since I built a new pc in Nov 2024, I no longer have that issue. My K/D has now risen 10 points. That's hard to do when you have 4.6k hours. It probably needs 60 kills per K/D when you have that many hours.

If I bought the game 'now' and played for the first time, I could be 6 star within a few sessions. RachtaZ showed that just 27 kills, and 4 deaths, was enough to take him from 0 MMR to 6 MMR in just 2 hours.

I'm obviously not as good as RachtaZ, but I had to kill hundreds of players, just to move my K/D up 10 places. During that time, my MMR moved up 1 star only.

This is 'why' there are so many 6 stars in the game with very little experience in the bigger picture. It takes thousands of hours to become truly proficient in this game.

I don't want to be one of those people... :
But why should I buy the DLCs when you can easily add the new lords to the game yourself with very little effort (yes, even with all the castles, videos, and sounds)?
