Long story short, it doesn't matter what name you give it, the content should just be included in an update.

Early Access is a system to allow customers to support games that are in development. Having paid DLC during Early Access is just chopping out development that customers paid for, and selling it separately.
But it IS included in an update? For free? This is what is said about the August (Cahaya) update on the Steam page:

"Today, I'd like to start things off by talking about the Cahaya update.

Many players expressed their excitement and expectations for the update after it was revealed. Seeing so much enthusiasm for something we've been working hard on developing has been both encouraging and a reminder of our responsibility toward our community.

While Cahaya remains the central focus of the August update, we'll also be making improvements to the game's simulations in response to player feedback. Here are two key areas we're focusing on.



1. Unique Zoi Personalities and Behavior

We've received feedback from many players regarding the lack of distinctive behavior and traits among different Zois. To address this, we're adding various improvements to make each Zoi's unique personality and preferences feel more pronounced.

2. Zoi Goals and Player Guides

Several players have expressed difficulty finding out what to do next in the game, largely because key information related to Zoi goals is hidden deep within the UI. We've also received feedback that the lack of meaningful rewards makes fulfilling these goals feel underwhelming. While inZOI is designed to encourage a wide variety of playstyles, we are working on making the core gameplay loop more clear and engaging.



I'd also like to share some details on Cahaya's overall concept and gameplay, which many players have been curious about.



Cahaya is themed as an island getaway. To bring that experience to life, players will be able to make brief trips to this region while living in either Dowon or Bliss Bay. We've all had moments where we want to escape the monotony of everyday life. Cahaya was designed to offer such an escape, a peaceful holiday retreat where players can unwind and relax.

This update will also introduce swimming, a key part of any vacation experience. We hope this addition makes your time in Cahaya feel even more immersive and relaxing.



We're aware that both adding new content and refining existing gameplay are equally important, which is why our team is working harder than ever. While we can't fix everything overnight, we remain committed to making steady improvements to provide our Creators with the experience they desire."

Give siege towers more health in the siege beta

I just watched a video about the siege beta, and it´s worse than i expected...

Like all they did is basically to remove siege attacker from certain units, and remove the ass ladders. All the other issues aren´t touched, which are somehow more severe than that. Also they didn´t even adjust the AI to it, so without ladders they will walk up to the wall, so You can shoot them down, till they managed to get a breach in the wall, or tear the gate down.

Which tells me that auto-resolving these will still be the way to go, while the "siege attacker" is taken away from random units, while similar units still have it - and certain factions now only have a siege attacker as T5 unit, and not in the starting army.

They didn´t touch the capture points, or general map design, or the pathfinding, or any other bugs with it. What the heck. Like if they do a beta about it - i thought they would probably rework the whole thing, maybe not completely new maps, but at least have the towers in connection to the nearest capture point, or in some position where they can actually shoot. Even if i don´t like the tower mini game, it could at least work in a way, that one would think that it is thought through - and not randomly put all over the place for no reason or benefit.

If it´s about me, they can remove the siege attacker thing from all units, and let get sieges started with everyone. If one thinks siege equipment would add to the immersion, they should build it - and if not - then not. I don´t need the ladders either. And if this is somehow the whole result, and the AI can´t manage to do it without the ladders - one wouldn´t need to start a beta about it. Maybe add an option in the campaign menu to either add or remove ass ladders. How long would this whole suggestion take to realize? One day? And the result would probably be better than what´s coming next after the siege beta.
