I haven't played for about three days. I ran an integrity check on the game files.
When I press the key assigned to my inventory, the game crashes with the following error:

It is, indeed a "you" problem, but there is a visual reminder - the "III" on things you can't harvest - wormhole candy and snail shells mainly.

If it goes on the hotbar, it has to be either #0 or #9. Nothing else is acceptable.

Personally love the Omnitool, and all the extra inventory space for gatherables.

A single inventory slot is not going to significantly impact your inventory space. This "save inventory space" argument is getting ridiculous at this point. There's so many other things that could be done to help with inventory space that isn't as controversial.

you must be high af, 16gb+ is the current standard. you just are hella stuck in the past. go complain about something real instead of being ill informed. what a waste of time for everyone here

I don't want to hear some whiners say it's easy or that it's for anti-cheaters. First of all, it is not easy for a lot of folks. You can't force a player to train themselves to become tech-savvy just to play your damn game. This is not even pirating a game — you want the game installed and played instantly. That is product standard, and that can't be changed, period.

Second of all, it is not going to counter cheating. Cheating will happen nonetheless. The hacking community is an ever-changing and evolving entity; all you can do is limit the cheating. I’ve seen many companies use different means to limit cheating, but none of them dared to ask players to tweak their BIOS — until now. I don't want to hear “Oh, Valorant does this” or “That game does that.” I don't play those games, and I don't think you have to tweak your BIOS for those games either. Not a single game in this world deserves this much effort from the end user.

Diablo 3 was the first game that asked players to be online all the time, despite a huge portion of the game being playable in single player. This was nothing but a Trojan horse using the excuse of counter-piracy to gain more control over the public — the gamers. They want to access more data so they can observe and research user behavior not just to improve your experience but to improve their profits too, at the expense of your privacy.

Now they ask you to tweak your BIOS. The next day they’ll ask for your ID, then next year they’ll ask you for your birth certificate. If this is not changed, don't play, period.

So does that mean you cannot train someone to pass their driving test just to drive car? Would you say the same thing in 1908 about Rhode Island being the first state to require driving tests?

All Secure Booting must go into BIOS to be turned on. Everything else that prevents secure booting instantly requires some changes to BIOS and/or your disk partition system.

annie LM -> grab occasionally causes the grab to whiff even when the hitbox touches the enemy character. notably does not seem to happen when just using m -> grab

Hmmm very odd. The fact that Annie's Grab wiffs after M is normal. Most Grabs in DoF will ignore airborne opponents, so that you can avoid them by jumping. (There are some exceptions with anti-air command grabs but those are always on specials or supers)

The real bug here is the fact that you're able to get the Grab animation to come out after M, because it puts the opponent in the air. All normal grabs should only come out if the opponent is on the ground. Not sure how that's happening, I can't seem to recreate it as for me when i try she just does her standing Heavy and not her grab animation,

Is there a specific timing you're doing? Does the opponent land right as you press the grab input? Or is there anything else?
