i bought it but have barely played it because it has a lot of work needed like pistols added and the skill trees literally finished and fixed as of right now it has bows that somehow is supposed to include firearms as well and literally just none of it is finished, plus better character models and well...they just have a ton to still do....this is like alpha.....or even pre alpha in a lot of ways....which is different for me as BG 3 had early access but was more in late lpha or early beta state of the game when they did....i get this is a much smaller team that needed the money to keep developing...but unless they take giant leaps i would say they probably over a year from getting close if not longer....

Thanks Rabid Raccoon, That is why this is called Buggy "Bugs". does this happen to you or is it just me?

From a design perspective, if none of that is ever gonna change, at least a message or some sort of indicator that you have to build on more level ground would be nice. As it is, it says there are obstacles which implies removable elements imo.

The foundation does help with uneven terrain, but it has its limits. The obstacles are most likely unmovable rocks. Are you trying to build in the mountain area?
Also, it's not always the ground that causes the issue, you also get the error about obstacles in the air when for example the branches of a tree would get too close into your building. So look at that as well.

And no, sadly terraforming is not possible in the game due to technical reasons with how the map was crafted.

I've been trying to build in the waterfall area south of the lake and east of Gostovia cause it seems like an awesome place to build my town. Logically? Ready access to water. Aesthetically? Pretty waterfall, don't even have to chase it. Idk if that counts as "mountain area"

i just had a revanant spam erdtree heal on me and the wylder while we tanked through all the bosses attacks. probably a recluse with terra magica would be ideal as well. but it completely trivialized all marais attacks

I am down if you are ever on when I am available if this is still open for a session

TFP listening to people who want it "Easy and convenient" are what got them into the trouble in the first place.

I sure have been. And the main complaint I've seen is the removal of near infinite water (jars, most people will outright admit this by saying it's "abnormal water shortage" as if you don't get dirty water every two seconds), biome progression (how dare we have to show we're prepared to move into the next area by doing simple quests that basically revolve around "survive a handful of minutes"), and having a loot quality cap ("what do you mean I'm required to CRAFT in my zombie survival CRAFTING game? What next, zombies?"). And let's not forget the Learn by Doing crowd, who'd rather waste resources (including their own time) rather than LOOTING THINGS, in the LOOTING game.

PLEASE look through these comments at all the people who talk about "what we lost" and let me assure you, the ONLY complaint that I've seen recently that isn't "game doesn't let me do what I want with no challenge" is one guy who specifically called A16's bugs "another character of the game". Which is probably the most poetic way of saying "things that happen commonly enough that they got fixed in later patches" I've ever heard.

Trashing all the "crowds" isnt going to get you anywhere. People have a legitimate gripe, thats been brewing a long time.

Dont blow them off, like TFP do

Not a bad idea. Replay value would benefit from the ability to save a seed for the particularly challenging (or easy) start in order to try different strategies, or perhaps for an authentic rematch in multiplayer.
