I have only seen a streamer playing this, but watching the process he had to go through when he needed to replace the cart wheels mid-journey kinda stressed me out.
I completely agree with you both from what I've seen. I think a slider/on-off option concentrating on durability should be a part of starting a game.
Let the player adjust durability levels to suit their own playstyle.

The vehicles aren't too bad when the team actually works together to take them down. What is OP ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is that stealth chopper that can't be locked onto, even with a SOFLAM.
The only way I know of to take it down is have the hacker sniper class break its stealth then 2 engis with AA lock on.

they are so easy to take down with a lizile.. you only need to get 1 missile onto it and they move so slow they are easy to hit
