I don't care about the AFKers. They aren't hurting me, and not preventing the event from being completed. Some nights ago I was server-hopping, trying to find one where a particular camp wasn't blocked, and ended up on a server with just one other guy. The two of us hammered out Fasnacht. I actually got to kill most stuff since there weren't twenty other people spraying lasers, flames, and explosions everywhere.

The only thing sad, for me, about the AFKers is knowing there's people for whom the best way to play the game is to not play it and do something else.

You are playing with Windows 7 OS? I'm fairly certain Steam stopped supporting Windows 7 at the beginning of 2024.

Dude, read...He's on a Windows 11 system. For troubleshooting purposes, he tried Windows 7 compatibility mode.

You can down stingrays in 1-2 passes with most weapons. I haven't tested light pen weapons on them, but I've downed them with the JAR-5 before. The stingrays are immune to light pen weapons. Which is a little annoying, but i guess otherwise the stalwart would be even better than it is against them. (it is just a pure gear check though, which is lame)

Fair. It does make sense (your ship is made of paper if literally anything can shoot it down), but I always thought it would be one of those enemies that relies on agility and the chaos of combat to survive rather than armour.

Exactly this... If anyone claiming to be doing this to improve Bethesda's future titles were actually doing it to improve Bethesda's future titles, they'd not be here... They'd be over on the Bethesda.Net forums, where Bethesda actually pay attention to what is said...

The problem with that is that most of them would likely not last 5 minutes before they were banned, given the sort of behaviour that goes on here...

No one has a problem with critique... I've criticised many elements of Starfield, from the erasure of gender in the character creator, through to the clunky UI, through to how door placement in the ship builder is completely half-arsed (made even worse by the fact a modder was able to make mods that allowed static door placement), right upto bugs that I've encoutered...

Not once have I ever felt attacked for expressing those opinions... I have had people disagree, and even push back, but I've never been attacked...

Say something good about Starfield, however... Better have swallowed your daily dose of cement...
