To lay my cards on the table more clearly, I suspect LAN was removed when the game moved to steamworks in the anniversary edition because it essentially allowed for a single copy of the game to be all you needed to do a LAN party. This is something I do all the time in regular LAN parties for old games with LAN mode. (Rise of Nations, AOEII, etc)

Because this is a "new" release I doubt they will do something that could theoretically suppress sales like have a LAN mode, however perhaps it could get re-added to the old anniversary edition since surely the sales on that one are minuscule now that it has been obviated.

Ciri was always the main character. The books revolved around her. They used Geralt as a point of view, but Ciri was the reason for the plot. It absolutely isn't "dumb" to make the game about her.

Main character's name is Geralt of Rivia dummy. Books, as well as (the relevant topic) the games as well. He stars in all 3.

just did the joan of arc mission to destroy 3 castles on hard, took a few hours as orange was pestering me with cavalier, past the hour mark the 1 second stutter was more and more frequent, wtf is wrong with the steam version of this game

personally i love the bosses in the main game and dlc they did a great job rellana was a peice of cake tbh. but i hear yall ik the point your makeing the old style of dark souls is also great.
