Same issue is happeneing to me on a RTX 3070Ti. Ive been playing for months with no issues, then after the latest updates I went to play again and due to the lag, its virtually unplayable.

Are you loading the same ships as before, or the new, very big ones?

My base computer is in the overseers office on most of my saves and there are two teleporters quite close. The settlement one inside, the base one outside.

Put down the base computer outside the settlement boundaries, lay a trail, panels, batteries, or floor slabs (whatever floats your boat) into the settlement then pick up and carry the base computer into the office.

Those were done some time back, the first before settlements had their own TP's. Both still work. I do that so I can build inside the settlement, a roof over the fishing pond, or trog tulips on a tower above the overseers office, storage silos outside the office for example. I sometimes have to save/log back in to allow me to build is the only problem I've had.

I haven't tried that recently but it used to work. My newest save (with two bases +TP on the same world) was started after the last expedition, so that's 'recent'.

Just so you know- Settlements have always had a teleporter in the overseer's office from the introduction. You must be mis-remembering.

Nope, that was fixed soon after settlements were added but for the first month or so, no TP's. Office sometimes 6' under the ground - lots of problems
