it's a lot like the glitch (feature?) in Ninja Gaiden 1 where mashing down, attack, and jump also let you shred through bosses in a similar way, with that game people called it "slash-canceling" iirc
great for speedrunners, came into play heavily in the recent official speedrunning contest for the demo

Nah, mashing even more buttons likely isn't solving the issue of already mashing buttons :D
The raw time it takes is less of an issue, it's the several hundred hits each boss takes that makes them thoroughly tedious.

This game is a joke now and an abuse to early access and the reason why I no longer support this. How long has it been now? 5 years in early access?

my game has had trouble launching AUTO SAVES. if i scroll and find a manual save it launches slowly and laggy at first but when trying to load auto saves the game crashes before loading in. i keep losing progress when loading the game back up

Those are all easily 100% playable on emulators. Go play those.

I was so excited when I captured my first elephant but when it finally matured, I was so disappointed.

First of all it is taking up a lot of space. At least 3 wall high abs 2 tiles wide if I wanted to move it in and out. I have not tried it but I doubt it can enter dungeons.

Then it does not follow. I had to ride it everywhere and on top of a mount that cannot attack and get stuck everywhere, it is far from a great experience. I also can’t take shortcuts like climbing a cliff.

I was excited about the platform saddle, until I realized just how limited it is. I can’t put things like air heater or cooler or anti radiation tower. That would have been really cool (or hot, depending lol)

So other than a glorified truck that can perhaps carry way more than I will need to on any expedition (almost meaningless in a sp game) it is the ‘white’ elephant in my base.


I wonder if anybody actually found a good use for them in a sp game? (Putting crossbow may seem interesting at first, but I feel it is generally too troublesome once the novelty wears off)
