Ever work in a game engine? Ever move resources from an older version of a game engine to a newer one? It's not as easy as you think. I've worked with the Unreal Engine since its release with the original Unreal. It use to be a subtractive engine, but has long since become an additive engine. Even simple-seeming things, like importing the original ADSM's blast was a bit of an undertaking.

I'm just going to 100% disagree with you. Mounts are ideal for going where you've already been, and are much faster than your walking speed. They absolutely suck for going where you have not yet been, as you will miss things, and spend far too much time dismounting and mounting when you do notice something completely new.

Why do you guys have a problem when devs are balancing the game?

Instead of mashing dodge button wait and see what the boss is doing ....
if you judge boss is going to hit you ,try to time getting up to dodge it...
if it's not going to hit you... wait, wuchang is slowly going to get up....
when she gets half way in her getting up animation, you can press dodge to cancel it into a normal dodge.

only problem was her getting up animation/dodge was too slow.
The only thing devs needed to do was speed it up a little and increase i-frames a little noting more...
Instead they just removed any skill from getting up...
you can just 'mash' dodge to get up without any risk...

They did the same thing only worse with flask....

they increased drinking speed by 30-50% and as cheery on top
to added a dodge cancel to it O_O wtf you already had other faster healing items !!!!

So no i don't have have a problem when devs are balancing the game ....
I have a problem when devs do it wrong.
They trivialized the game too much at this point they could remove drinking and getting up animation...
It wouldn't make too much difference.

you just want make it about:'Why do you guys have a problem when devs are balancing the game'
when in reality most people just have a problem in how devs do it :)
