well i was playing a game with some kids and we didnt make quota, well i won the this but my character didnt show. like where it says ___ is the winner. well then we started another round, but all the others didnt move nor speak. i didnt know what happened but then they left one by one per minute. it was very strang and when i tried to make screenshots it made the sound of a screenshot but it didnt actually take one. i tried to take a screenshot on "X-box game bar" but it didnt work. if any of this happened to you or your friends please reach out to me in any way

I manage to run it (barely) using proton (Manjaro, NVIDIA RTX2060, 6GB ram).
UE5 seem to have some huge optimization issues that makes them run sluggish even on the lowest graphics settings. Any UE4 game nowdays run perfectly smooth on normal graphics settings on my rig, just for comparison. Half of UE5 games I've tried have not been playable. The other half barely enjoyable.

It is hard to say whether the engine needs to be updated or if the developers need to learn how to actually build optimized games in UE5. What I do know is that it is much easier to make things looks flashy in UE5 with realistic lighting and what not. But I think this all come with a cost.

For a game like this (and to be honest, most games in general) realistic graphics and lighting is not really adding much value. I wish that they had stayed with UE4. But if only Linux users like me are having problems, I'm not going to cry that much about it (my own self righteous choice :D).
I actually would like to know if this is only a Linux issue or if performance issues are also seen on Windows.

Forbidden west is a bloated game. It adds a bunch of new mechanics but doesn't guide you, the story gives you more questions than answers. The combat could be fun but not as simple as the first game. Overall I enjoyed but i don't think it's a great game.

Definitely sounds better, the only "problem" i have is the amount of different weapons i need for different enemies unless i play on easy difficulty, even if it's justified I still don't like switching between different weapons to match enemy resistances.

So, you can be a virtuous model and still Calzar acts like an ass. I want to destroy him, whatever the cost. I have as much hate for him I had for galflrey on my first WotR playthrough.

In WotR there's no real way to deal with her on the "righteous" path, but some very satisfying ones on the "not the righteous ones"

On one hand, the trope is used, I recognize it.. On the other it still work!

But that is not WotR, My first 3 or 4 playthroughs were meant to piss Galfrey - and that's the only char I did not romance - even on an angel playthrough. The writing is exceptionnal but heretical still seems blend to me.

Just curious : will I be able to have a meaningful revenge on him outside the heretical path ?

But that doesn't take into account the fact that what we have here is 4/9 of the maps planned to be out at launch, no dates on when new content will be added. This beta is as close to launch as you can reasonably get on such a large project. What we're getting here is pretty much a 95% completed project and we're just missing a few guns and a handful of maps. To say it's "just a beta" is a bit of a mid point. You're getting the gameplay out of this beta. The final gameplay. This is how it feels, this is how it plays. People don't like it. Like I said, I think it's cool. But the reality of it is, what you're getting now is mostly what you're getting on release with a few additions.

So he should buy the full game at release even though he didnt like the beta?

Star Trek The Original Series was packed full of societal issues of the time.

But handled it better. Minus the first kiss between a black lady and a white guy on screen. That was done a handful of years before The original Star Trek did it. But Star Trek the series overall is not perfect with dealing with social issues. But the ones they got right, are the best.

ToS would do all kinds of progressive things. (While also being really problematic to modern leftists.) With the focus demographic being male nerds.

Modern Sci-Fi tries to be as progressive as possible. With a focus on a female demographic.

This doesn't work. It has never worked. There are decades of evidence that this is a failing strategy.

I seriously hate it that modern MP feels like playing a botmacht back in the days since you never see anyone again, there is almost zero interaction nothing.

this. In battlefield we developed a community, found a server we liked that had people that consistency were on that server that we liked.

We always saw each others names.

I've only seen one person from the bf3 days on this game.
