As time passes (particularly after a meteor shower that seems to have damaged many plants), the map becomes almost barren of Kepple and Narnip. Narnips can be bought back, so that's somewhat manageable, but Kepple cannot.

Oddly enough, mineral patches can regenerate in the exact same spots, but Kepple and Narnip do not. Once they are harvested or destroyed, there is no regrowth at all, eventually leaving none on the map.

(PS: I had a plantation of 24 Kepple, all destroyed by a meteor shower)

I use night light mode on my monitor, but game seems to ignore it and straight burns my eyes with how bright it is. Also the graphic looks like its contrast maxed out to 200% and there is no in-game way to fix it.

Also I am not sure, but is the FPS capped in this game? It feels like the game capped to ~30 fps

whats the point of releasing characters for a really limited game? I cant use new characters cuz I already beat the game and there is no point of playing without any relevant infinite mode or something like Tower of desire in Berserk game

There's literally a channel called service-alerts. It's nobodies fault but your own that you couldn't be bothered to check that channel.

Honestly it is a good policy, it saves people money in the majority of cases, and if a person can't be bothered accepting a gift within that time, the either do not use steam very often, or didn't want it to begin with.

We survived in this game for the past decade when the reviews were mostly negative, we went through all those bugs and always stood by Bohemia, we bought Livonia when they released it and now that the game is doing well, extremely positive reviews, breaking records of active players year after year we are forgotten like this?
in 2018 the game went into its beta with the new engine and after 7 years of a steady INCREASE OF PLAYERS i think they have made every right decision so far and most of you all are grasping into nostalgia of a games vision that is has already gone past by YEARS ago. i bought dayz in 2015 and i will ALWAYS prefer this newer version of what we had back then with the constant bugs of just running down the stairs and dying or getting launched into space by a ladder or cars just taking you to narnia. being stuck in uncancelable actions and being beaten to death while just hopelessly watching you drink some water. zombies ALWAYS clipping into walls and floors and back then being like a few months to where all zombies were turned off for a while. the game is in such a MUCH better state its crazy. you could have jumped off the ship 7 years ago with the beta release because it was clear to where the game was heading.

I agree with you that the game is in a much better state right now in terms of playability that's exactly what i said, we survived all the bugs you mentioned, but you're completely wrong when you try to link this game's player growth to the developers ''every right decision so far'', it was the MODDERS who made this game reach its current player numbers and saved this game from dying, this is a fact everyone already understands

I don't think you understood my point, what i meant is that despite the game's growth, not everyone wants to rely on dinosaurs and spaceships modded servers, some of us who went through all those years before the mods still like the REAL DAYZ and would love to see the game being taken care of by the developers who, i must say congratulations, even after all these years never changed Dean Hall's vision of DayZ

If you think the base game isn't lacking content then you and i have nothing more to discuss here

Anyone else playing through the series before bl4 comes out?

it has the best gunplay and thats about it. the guns feel nicest to use, the shooting SFX is nice, the ironsights actually line up etc, but the only playthrough i ever managed was achieved via turning voice SFX to 0 and captions off, and alt tabbing during cut-scenes so that i didn't have to watch the tik tokers, i did this about 15 minutes into the playthrough so i could just focus on the lootershooter aspects, and it was necessary or i would have refunded the game.

BL3 was farting out legendaries from level 1 and never stopped, all the playable characters and skill trees imo were boring as ♥♥♥♥, ontop of the game running like absolute ass compared to bl1/2 despite not looking a huge amount better.

the original writer stopped writing for borderlands after BL2 was done, and lord almighty is it ever apparent.

edit: BL3 kinda mirrors Fallout 4 imo. they have the exact same problem when compared to their predecessor. Fallout 4 was a much "better feeling" fps than New Vegas with really nice weapon anims, good ironsights, generally better hitreg and more satisfying gunplay. And yet most people still give the crown of best 3D fallout game to New Vegas, because in every aspect apart from the raw gunplay, it blows fallout 4 out of the water and into outer space.

Uh, Fallout 4 is an RPG, not a dedicated shooter. It uses first person mechanics, yes, but it not an combat FPS the way that Borderlands. Don;t get fooled by the First Person Prespective.
