I have two linux machines with steam installed. both are logged in as the same user. Both machines have the context menu for streaming games from each other. Both have local network transfer enabled. Both machines are are the same wired network with valid ips and can ping each other.

When I go to download a game on one computer that the other computer has, local network transfer does not work. They just default to a general internet download. are there any test tool for debugging this?

After canning, items become stale, would this also be a mod incompatibility?

I may have missed it on accident but I am calling on the wonderful world of steam to see if someone could give me a few pointers for just starting out...

I would say it is most definitely malicious. MA made clear from the beginning that they didn't like Post and it must annoy them that their changes away from the original game are unpopular and that players avoid them. Deleting the old fans last remnant of choice and forcing everyone to play their dumb frontline mode is a calculated attempt to say "we're in charge and the players will do as they're told".

If the game dies as a result, they lose nothing. Back to their day jobs. Although you'd hope they become unemployable as devs as a result.

The conspiracy theories you come up with are highly entertaining, I'll give you that.

Nobody is forced to buy anything at all. Reynad doesn't appear in your home with a gun threatening to shoot you if you don't buy it. Yes predatory F2P mechanics gives you the freedom to waste money on absolutely nothing and scam you into thinking you got anything of value. The very definition of a scam like I said. Now The Bazaar doesn't have any such freedom to get scammed, which I still say is how it should work.

They still sold founders packs up until the game went into 1.0, I might add with not even a week of prior warning either. Literally bought a Founders pack 2 weeks before the game launched into the first, kinda ill-fated f2p model. Can’t imagine I’m the only one.

Then you can continue playing on the Tempo launcher without paying Steam anything. Really simple is what then.

I bought the Founder's pack in mid November, when their plans were to launch open beta (not 1.0 as in full release) in December fully knowing I might only get like couple weeks of playtime for it. But I wanted to play the game because it looked like so much fun and then their plans changed moving it forward a month couple times so I got a bit more. Not everyone cares so deeply about spending like 1/10th of the cost of one bar night on a game that will give 100s of hours of fun instead of a headache in the morning. And it could have still moved forward when you bought it like before, but didn't. After that I've kept paying for the monthly pass and subscription purely because I want to support the game devs so they will keep on making the game better. So the life lesson learned here is to only spend money you can afford to lose easily on something you really want and admit you made a bad choice if it turns out to be something you didn't want.

Agreed. It does KIND of work in Diablo and PoE 1 though. Can get really powerful items sometimes on those items you can't repair. With a little magic, you can use them indefinitely.

im no expert, but it take a little practice to get t rains working so you maybe will make mistakes.
The trains tracks are VERY sensitive to uneven terrain so make make sure the terrain is 100% even where you want to build this make it more easy.. Ofcourse it can go up down, but if one track is a tiny bit higher than the other then the game will often build small foundations below the track and then a track is not touching the ground.
Also think about how tight the turns are, this might make the train slow down.
Maybe also consider to have some train track circles or bridges so your train can go from one track and onto the other and cange direction or go onto another track to pickup x other things.
Regarding stations. Well if you train station is example 4 modules long and your trains is 8 long, then the train need som space to drive a bit out of the station to load(unload the last 4 weagons. So make extra room so your train can do this.

Also its a good idea if your train station is on a side track that way your train can drive into a station and not block the main line.

Regarding how many train stations you might need. Well personaly first time i build trains stations many places and kind of found it to be an issue.
This time i will try to make larger train stations and setup more storage buildings there so there always is a full building with stuff vs building a small station where the train have to wait for a long time to get loaded.

Another things is i think you want to have longer trains +8 long especially mining trains, and you maybe want more than 1 train in front of your wagons.

I picked up something called a safehouse book. I dont know what it does or where it even shows up. Did anyone else find one?
