Unbanning, what reasons should be good enough?

Here is my list.

1. If you submit enough cheat programs to Valve to get a minimum of 200 other cheaters banned. (reason better to ban 200 than 1)

2. Vac made a mistake


That's it, sorry my list is so short. I do however object to a VAC ban on your profile without it specifying the game/s.

You wouldn't be happy if for every unban there was a minimum of 200 bans as a direct result of that person giving Valve cheat definitions that may cause thousands of bans, not just 200 and they are not unbanned unless they replace themselves with 200 others minimum.

Then if those 200 did the same thing there would be 40,000 cheats banned instead of 200. Offer it to the 40,000 and not many would be unbanned as there would not be enough cheats to hand in to get 8,000,000 people banned because not that many cheat anyway.

I think turning the cheaters against there own kind is a concept that might just work.

Also, no, X-Spectate originally banned people, however it was changed from ban to a kick - although the people banned were apparently NOT unbanned.

Only reason 2. "Vac made a mistake" would, should and needs to be the only reason for unbanning a person.
Cause that equals to the fact the account hasn't cheated.
Keep in mind that I say account and not person.

This does not happen, anyone saying this is a cheat and telling you an excuse for having a ban.

I'll let BurtonJ know so he can't tell you exactly what you did if you like, He loves telling people what cheat they used, What game was it and did you make any modifications to it, or let someone else use it or get keylogged or phished?

Vac doesn't ban for random stuff, it must see a definition that is exclusive to the cheat to ban. That or see modified files that are not allowed to be modified.

Yep, well if he said the game and when he was banned and wanted to talk to support, I would consider he may not have cheated himself, but an account don't have to be getting used by the owner to get banned of course. I guessing he probably deserved it and knows it and it posting here thinking he can get revenge by dising VAC. Pity we know how it works, chances of messing up = the amount of chance of Valve forgetting to sign a file change and those are all reversed.
