CAN GAMING KEYBOARDS TRIGER A VAC BAN?
I have hte keyboard logitech g 110 and mouse logitech g500 and since both have have buttons that can be programmed, it is very convenient for many games, but when programming complex macros on buttons, is there risk of ban?
like team fortress2 that can be put in a button engineer constructions or spy disguises
if anyone knows more about it, I would appreciate if you could help me
note:is not the same of scripts or aimbots, the macros are only keypreses of standard keyboards and mouseclicks

I've had a macro-enabled mouse, been using it on Tf2 for months with build scripts & such... Nothing happened.

You can't get a ban on TF2 for using that kind of building scripts & macros.

I dont think macros will trigger a VAC ban.

although I know some games (not steam games) that will perma ban when they detect "programmed loop" macros (such as using AutoIt programs).

No.

I've been using Logitech keyboards for many years.

Nope, you won't get banned. More info about VAC can be found here.

No gaming keyboards DO NOT trigger a VAC ban, I use a gaming keyboard and doesn'y count as a cheat.

I have seen some anti-recoil setups with macros and scripts from applications like Logitech Gaming Software. I made one small macro that could fire, switch and switch back my weapons for CS: GO on.the same application. This allowed faster, perfect-every-time continued fire with an awp.. Or a slower but perfect accuracy with a deagle. This can be spotted by someone pushing the macro key too soon resulting in no shot caused by switch times. You could also lower fire rates which is incredibly effective with weapons like the Nagev or P90.

I have used a Logitech G13, 510 and 300/600 for a few years now. And for alot of games people claim macros have had them banned. Personally I Suck at script and it can bottleneck your peripheral software, causing latency in any key or applet registration . So even if prefect recoil is what you want, you will possibly lag everything else that is linked to that software.

Check logitech forums about it. It may give an edge in one place in cost for something else. If they were to ban for using 3rd party apps such as G series, they would be watching your gameplay and watching for such precise repetition.

I don't use macros in competitive.. but in deathmatch my Nagev or M249 will be like an M4 on Steroids. Why? Because it's funny. If I was to ever compete, I would allow for my gear to be checked before and after every match. I will use a G13 over any keyboard due to just how effective it is with just normal hotkeys alone. If that was illigal, than you wouldn't be allowed to change your key bindings in the first place (which is inpretty much every game) . You want to shoot with a push of a key rather than a left click? Go nuts, nobody can stop you.

gaming peripherals macroes isnt triggering VAC
but specific macro sequence could lead to an overwatch ban due to "robotic" script accuracy

but in short, no, it wont trigger a VAC ban

YES YOU CAN!

I've been banned for using some autotext, this is a waste of money

if you bind a "cheat" script on gaming keyboards, ofcourse you'll get banned, which isnt gaming keyboard's fault

I expected that, I PUT SOME AUTOTEXT LIKE AAAAAAAAWWWWWWW! for every time they killed me, thats not a script

Which can't get you VAC banned. (It may get you server banned as it's VERY annoying!!) Gaming keyboard LITERALLY send keypresses into the game. It's like recording a video of something and then playing it back. I used to have autotext on games so i wouldn't have to type out when i've spotted something, or needing backup at a certain point in a game.

They won't and cannot get you banned.

You can even get third party programs that will track mouse movements and keypresses, etc. again, these won't get you banned by VAC, they could look suspicious and get you an overwatch ban or a server ban by an admin, but they can't VAC ban you either.

It's just not "detectable".

it deppend on what bans you talk about, If vac bans, not vac no ban Even programs to make macro don't trigger a vac ... but take care some games competitive don't allow macros, and some other games use custom anti cheats that can get you banned (not vac, vac is SAFE) example left 4 dead 2, competitive servers use smac and don't allow macros so take care.
