VAC and never cheated

I honestly couldn't believe it at first. It wasn't letting me queue for a comp so I decided to close my CSGO. I relaunched it and a red bar showed up at the top saying something that went by "Major Disruption" which I had searched up and it meant cheating. I got scared at first because I thought I was VAC banned. I checked my profile and I saw a game ban. I laughed at it thinking damn people really thought I was cheating. I laughed because I thought game bans can be removed and I have never cheated so why would I get banned for something I never did. I've gotten plenty of accusations of cheating by lower ranks just cause they think that better players don't exist. I was pissed a little later searching up what a game ban meant. Saying I could be banned for a minimum of 30 days. I talked to my buddies and they all were surprised and pissed at the same time. I messaged steam support and then decided to go to sleep. I wake up this morning to the most upsetting label EVER. "1 VAC ban or record 0 days". I mean I simply could not believe my eyes. All the skins I bought and all the money and time I put into this game was gone within a single day. I am extremely disappointed in valve that they cannot handle the cheaters in games so they target players who play the game fairly and purchase their skins. Valve you should be ashamed. Fix your ♥♥♥♥♥♥ system and unban me.

Vac bans are issued for known cheats being detected on the computer while the account was connected to a vac server.

Anything that tampers with protected game files is treated as a cheat regardless of it giving an advantage or not (skin changers, etc). Steam/Valve will not release any information about what was detected, that information will only help those that cheat and make cheats. VAC bans are delayed, what you were doing at the time of the ban being applied is unlikely to be what earned the ban

You are responsible for the security of the account and what is on the computer(s) the account uses. It does not matter who was using the account to cheat.

No one on the forums can remove nor investigate a ban. Only falsely applied VAC bans are removed automatically by the system at a later time.

This is not a ban appeal forum, nor can you appeal a vac ban.

since the ban notice says MAJOR DISRUPTION, that would result in a GAME BAN showing. you have a VAC BAN SHOWING, that means 2 different anti cheat systems that use completely different methods of detection caught the account cheating. ban is 100% correct and permanent

CSGO game bans are permanent and cannot be appealed. Bans are issued for either blatant cheating, the 2nd griefing offense, or being involved in account boosting.

It does not matter who was in control of the account when the cheating infraction occured. Overwatch has nothing to do with VAC.

and steam support has nothing to do with game/vac bans. they do not investigate them, they do not issue them, they do not remove them.

vac = cheat detected while connected to vac server. thats all that is required to earn a vac ban. does not matter if you used the cheat, it was active and detected. all vac bans are for one reason only - cheat detected while connected to a vac server

overwatch = 100 people review a demo of your accounts gameplay. they all saw cheating. if any one of them said NOT GUILTY, no ban would be issued. they are sent test cases to make sure they are being accurate. they do not know what demo is real and which are test cases. they fail enough test cases, they get removed from overwatch.

you can also stop asking for help on your profile to get unbanned. its not happening. make a new steam account, reformat the computer to remove what ever was detected, then start over in the game if you want to play on secure servers.

I'd say trust issues with a company is the last thing to cling into when you're posting in a forum full of people whose accounts are banned and yours is aswell. False bans exist but are rare, so you can wait it out... if you're not a liar.

Which is a waste of time for everyone involved as Steam Support can not investigate or remove a VAC ban.

And even if the VAC ban would be removed, the game ban wouldn't.
You are banned by two separate and independent anti cheat systems.
That makes it very conclusive.
